"Yeah, they could try to stand up to her, but in the end, she's the one in charge of students with dragons, so their rebellion will come back upon them when she's in charge" Elliot sighed, staring at the bubble of energy keeping lady Violetta and the Hyarch hidden. "I wonder what's going on in there...." Elliot wondered.

Melody was walking through the pet shop trying to find Noirin and Ayaka when she tripped over something on the ground, smashing into the floor. She turned to see a girl sitting on the floor, crying, and clutching something to her chest. "I'm so sorry, are you okay!?" She asked, but in her mind she thought 'what the heck she shouldn't be on the floor like this, someone was bound to trip on her!'

Melody stood up instantly. "I think having an aquarium would be awesome! I kind of wish I got a water dragon , but I can't even swim so I figured air would be better suited." She giggled. Elliot said something next. "Nah, I'll just sit here until dinner, I'm tired."

"Yeah, I don't like her either, but I don't think I'll get a dragon. I wouldn't be able to take care of it alongside the pet I already have." Elliot said.
Melody murmured "she treats everyone but herself poorly. She doesn't deserve the title of 'priestess', and I will stand with you Noirin." She said with strength in her voice, showing Noirin the Chinese dragon egg she already had.

In Chinese mythology, the Phoenix and the Chinese dragon are symbols of yin yang. Elliot and Melody will be a lot like this, keeping balance and cancelling eachother out. I didn't plan the symbolism but just realized that Elliot's firebird and melody's ancient dragon resemble this, and their relationship throughout the RP will also show this symbolism.

Not necessarily because it take many years for the Ancient Ones to grown large enough to be riden. It would be perfect for those who wish to be in both programs.

This was what led me to believe the ancients may not be suitable for draconic arts for a while

Would Melody take draconic with the sky dragon or traditional, cause from what I read, the sky dragon doesn't grow to be rideable for quite the while.

Elliot sat down across from the robot. After it was done talking, he answered with a slight pause.

"I will take traditional magic. I will also be taking all of the extra credits, as I will need as much as I can get." And after the robot said next, Elliot got up and sat down next to Melody, just nodding in her direction and then staring at his firebird egg.

Melody was now completely embarrassed, and stammered one more thanks before awkwardly shuffling to a table near lady Violetta and sitting down, waiting for her to be done speaking with the scary dragon lady.

"Yeah," Melody replied. "She just really spooked me. I need to learn to be stronger if I'm gonna make it here, I cant just hide behind others." She said, embarrassed.
