Also just realized...despite being a rearguard fire support unit...Yuu's MAS probably has the highest defense in terms of how much punishment a MAS can take. It's like the TOG II*, where you just sit that on a bridge you want to block, and then fire at anything that moves. Even if you die...you still got a hundred+ tonne roadblock to deal with.

Kurayami

Appearance: Another Appearance Appearance: Stands at 5'6. Her eyes shift colors between sky blue and crimson red, with shades of purple in between, depending on how much of her power she's using. Name: Kurayami Mitsugo Nickname: Yami(-chan), Black Death, Calamity Age: Appears 20(it's presumed that she's as old as the world itself) Gender: Female Powers: As a psychopomp, Kurayami has the capability to ferry lost souls across the ‘river’ to the afterlife. Or, if she chooses to do so, she can also reap a still living being’s life. Another thing that may sound surprising, is that she also has the ability to bring back someone. It is different from necromancy, as she basically finds the soul, and pushes it back into it’s body. This maaaaay create some interesting results if she were to put the wrong soul into the wrong bodies. Beware of hiding in the shadows/dark places, as Kurayami can become a shadow, and travel through them, to anywhere else that has a shadow, akin to a portal. Likewise, becoming a floating shadow allows her to become impervious to anything physical, along with healing from any physical injuries. One thing that seems to have been a misunderstanding, is that she can’t directly control souls/ghosts. She can tell them what to do, but they don’t have to listen to her. They usually do however, in fear of being sent across. Weakness: The only way to actually beat her, if you really feel suicidal enough to fight her, is to actually strike before she gets a chance to use her abilities. Surprise attacks are one of the main methods, as with her powers, she ends up underestimating just about everyone else. If she does not believe you can win against her, she will hold back, which can be used against her. Also, those who can manipulate death, can actually control her physically. She will complain, but will do as she’s told. Skills: Despite appearances, Kurayami is rather capable of teaching. Hobbies: Enjoys watching others Personality: Eccentric would be the most fitting description for Kurayami. Being as old as she is, she has a habit of taking each day one at a time, enjoying them, as she has been around for the longest times. Associating and enjoying her time with others is one of her favourite past times. Probably the only reason why the school hasn’t had its secrets revealed to the general public, is due to her. Whenever there may be a likely case of a leak, Kurayami will deal with them, generally without anyone else knowing. Even the victim, who won’t remember a thing afterwards. Although this is probably due to her appeared age, but she quite often gets mistaken as a student. This causes the psychopomp no end of distress during class, when she is attempting to teach. If she isn’t trying to teach however, she would be perfectly fine with being called Yami-chan Background: Kurayami’s past is rather shrouded in mystery, one which she doesn’t ever elaborate one. However, it seems that those of the supernatural have heard of her, or even met her, multiple times if they have been existing for a long time as well. Optionals:

If he heals too many in one go, or heals a fatally wounded person, Shiyami puts himself at risk of dying. His second power, is Overclock, basically causing the body to become more 'energize', with cell division and reproduction happening at an extremely high rate, etc...Any and all injuries dealt to himself rapidly heals, even fatal wounds. The only way to actually kill him is to absolutely destroy his entire body before he regenerates. Also, while adding onto this, he also gains a ridiculous amount of strength, capable of rending armored plates to shreds. Weakness: When utilizing the second power, Shiyami will lose all rational thinking, and acting on orders. Utterly consumed by the need to kill, he will run through any obstacles and traps that may be in his way, whether friend or foe. As well, despite the ridiculous strength, his body's durability is still the same, excluding the regeneration. If he punched a brick wall with enough force to destroy it, his entire hand, and possibly part of his arm, will be utterly mangled from the impact. Picking up and throwing vehicles is possible, although he while destroy several muscles and break a few bones during the process. He has nearly destroyed himself on several occasions. Skills: For such a dangerous individual, Shiyami is rather adept at performing first aid treatment, along with quite the extensive knowledge of biology, the human body in particular. Hobbies: Relaxing, Observing the surroundings Personality: Shiyami generally is more of the easygoing, casual type of person, going with the flow, utterly relaxed even in the face of the dreaded exams. He does have a habit of spacing out, and/or thinking about his past. Although hard to notice, if anyone can manage to become close to him, they will notice that, even when laughing, his eyes seems to hold immense sadness, a well so deep, the light can't reach the bottom. If a group of people are wondering who caused a problem/trouble, Shiyami will always immediately take the blame, even when he had nothing to do with it. However, at the sight of what should have been a nostalgic view for others, only brought anger onto himself. Anger, which soon festered into hatred. Without another thought, he punched the wall with all his might. And completely knocked it down. Consumed by his hatred, and a growing sense of bloodlust, he continued inwards, ignoring his mangled arm, which was already rapidly healing. Many screams of fear and sobs of incoherent begging was heard in the neighborhood that night. As morning came too, the sight of the place was something straight out of a nightmare. The house was in shambles, destroyed police cars strewn around the place. And the bodies. Bodies, whether uniformed or not, littered the place, with most of the bodies missing limbs. The sheer amount of blood that coated the place looks almost like someone dumped a swimming pool filled with red paint everywhere. And most of the blood was on Shiyami. Standing in the middle of the disaster, the boy was coated from head to toe in the red liquid, streaming off him in rivulets. Unbeknownst to him, the scientist had gave the live recording of the destruction, and used it as a method to convince private contractors the viability of BOWs. Meeting up with Shiyami, the scientist offered for the boy to stay useful. Become a weapon, for others to use. Without any other purpose, he agreed. During the next couple years, Shiyami became extremely well known in the shadier side of law, nicknamed 'Immortal Demon' for the amount of destruction he caused, and for the fact that no one seemed to be able to kill him. Male or female, young or old, friendly or hostile, it did not matter. No one stood in his way and lived. The only reason why he did not destroy everything however, was due to orders. He followed every order to the letter, as that was his only purpose for living. However, he had, by chance, met BOW#0020, the genetic weapon before him, and was secretly warned about the path that Shiyami was traveling. After leaving off the conversation with the words, "Become human", the predecessor before him died of complications. Although it was a short, half year journey afterwards, but Shiyami finally understood what he meant. And when understanding this, he could only look at himself with the same hatred he had when wreaking havoc. Abandoning the scientist, he wandered once again, aimlessly observing his surroundings with empty eyes, someone had actually came up to him. A young child, who wanted to befriend him. Although the two talked, the child had broached upon a topic he should not have, causing Shiyami to instinctively strike, killing the child instantly. Once again hurriedly running away, Shiyami's only goal was to find someplace he could be rid of his past. It was this, that half led him to Oream Cause, a place where there are those who may be even stronger than himself, who was basically a monster compared to normal humans. Her tail, the most glaring weakness that one could ever have, was currently being toyed with by Gwen, who also kept her locked tightly between her legs. Image Appearance Details: Her left eye is actually a Cybernetic Eye, due to an accident that had destroyed it. It allows her to uplink into her MAS only. Generally only the right eye is open, the left is kept closed unless needed. She stands at 5'6 Name: Yuuyami Suyasuya, or Yuu Age: 29 Gender: Female Callsign/Codename: Echo Kills: 41 Psychological Analysis: Yuuyami, and extremely odd of a person. In most cases, she would be easily labelled as an eccentric individual, both in and out off battle. Known to be a metal-head, or someone who fawns over the MAS, many an officer had to physically pry her from performing maintenance on other pilots' suits. When in battle, she becomes an asset to the team, guarding the rear while still capable of providing fire support for the vanguards. Keeping her cool even when under sustained fire, choosing her targets carefully, before firing. This is especially true with the Calamity Artillery, as she only fires it at targets designated by the leader, or whenever given the order to fire at any targets. Although unusual, she communicates through text while inside a MAS, using her cybernetic eye to 'type' out the words on a virtual keyboard, before sending the message to appear in the corner of the receiver's HUD. When not around MAS or in battles, one will find Yuuyami to be a very...whimsical. Sometimes you may find her deeply focused on battle records, and creating her database for the progress of her MAS. Other times she can be associating with others, a somewhat calm yet happy demeanor. And then there are those times when she takes a nap in the most inopportune situations. Due to we habits of doing whatever her whim leads her to do, she doesn't have a sleeping schedule. The only times when she will never sleep, is during a battle, as the adrenaline rush keeps her awake. Something that might be interesting, is that while she's fine with her call sign or her nickname, if any refers to her as Calamity Queen, she becomes red faced and embarrassed. Military Record: Yuuyami was a special case even amongst the exceptions within the academy. She wasn't an elite by natural born talent, nor was she the utmost genius. It was due to her father's profession, that Yuuyami would be as capable as he could be. Her father, was the head of a research team for MAS development, with the focus on long range fire support. Whenever she had a holiday or a period of time where he wasn't occupied by training, she would go to her father's lab, where she would peer with curiosity at the designing and planning process for a MAS. Learning the basics of how a MAS would be built, she then used it for training, either by targeting weak points, guarding her own, or utilizing the movement of the training MAS to its limits without breaking it(she did damage the suspension multiple times), she earn praise and envy from her fellow peers. After graduating from the academy, instead of being thrown into a MAS unit like everyone else, Yuuyami was 'drafted' in as a MAS tester. Meaning, she became the pilot for the prototypes being built, mostly from her own father's lab. Though this may sound like a once in a lifetime, lottery level task, it was one that not many veteran MAS pilots would do. Prototypes are known for generally being volatile and prone to unexpected accidents, which can result in the loss of one's life. Being as the war was brewing, even the prototypes were being thrown into live combat, with the battle logs and records being used as data for improvements. More often than not, the MAS would always be returned heavily damaged. At one point, a metal fragment dislodged by an explosion had flung into her left eye, destroying it, and forcing the woman to obtain a cybernetic eye in replacement. One of the newer prototypes, in an attempt to upgrade the current Centurion MAS, was outfitted with an 'upgrade' to the Warhammer, the Calamity. It was here, that the brass took note of Yuuyami, as she laid waste to swaths of enemies from the rear of the attacks, while shrugging off minor attacks. Having the MAS refitted, this time adding the missile swarms, the Type 2 was a force to be reckoned with. Being at the back of the assaults, traditional weaponry could not target past the vanguard, nor could missiles touch her due to the swarm missiles. By the time Yuuyami was operating the second refit, allies and enemies alike have started referring to her as Echo, in regards to the thunderous echo of the Calamity firing. Although for a short time, she was actually referred to as 'Calamity Queen', since no one expected a frail looking woman to be piloting a monstrosity like the Type 2. It was recently after piloting the Type 3, that a recruiter invited her to join the 101st Legion, where the prototype could see battles that one normally wouldn't have seen, allowing for a large, unrivaled database to be formed on the current progress of the Type 3. It has now been two months since she joined the Legion, but her skills along with her MAS fit nicely. Equipment: A battle rifle and a very odd yet exotic weaponized pen. Appearing as a large silver fountain pen with golden trims, it is actually a single shot pistol loaded with a .32 pistol round. The pen's tip also doubles back as a rather sharp stake. What seems to be interesting is that the pen is usable for writing, although just a single page's worth requires two refills. Ink capacity is low due to the chambered round. The battle rifle is a basic marksman handed weapon, with a 4x scope.

Sovereign’s Thunder

Appearance: Designation: P-SOC-OBU Thunder Type 3, christened "Sovereign's Thunder", shortened to "Sovereign". Role: Long Range Artillery Support, Weapons Platform, Missile-Denial Chassis: Heavy Engine: Improved Hexa-Core Engine 35 PWR Operating Time: 8 Hours Description: The prototype MAS Type 3 is a recent refit to the Type 2, which in turn was a refit of the Type one, with emphasis on long range combat, firepower, and durability. With all the systems and weaponry onboard the MAS, it is a miracle that it has a running time of eight hours, something that has disputed the request for the mini-nuke experimental reactor to be built into it. The Type 3 was meant to be an extensive upgrade to the PTX-088 Centurion, although so far, only one prototype has been built. Currently still under testing phase. Systems: Calamity 150mm Autoloaded Artillery System. 3 WT 2 PWR. - A massive cannon built into the back of the Sovereign, this artillery piece was designed as an upgrade to the Warhammer Artillery System, although many have said that it is a variant instead of an upgrade, as only the loader has changed, the cannon stayed the same. The Calamity features an Autoloader, with the cannon capable of firing a 'clip' of three rounds in under two seconds. While the burst fire rate is high, the time it takes to reload the clip is five times longer than the Warhammer. Carries the same amount as the Warhammer, hence 50 150mm shells. AIO Saviors 30mm Auto-Flak 5 WT 2 PWR - The Saviors is a multi-purpose direct fire cannon, capable of firing different rounds suitable for different situations, ranging from HEAT to APCR to even Flak. However, to switch rounds, you need someone outside to externally load them, or be loaded in a carrier(which means someone loading them manually anyways). Carries 200 rounds. FB Trinity Laser Cannon 2 WT 4 PWR - A versatile laser cannon, designed for moderate ranged combat. Generally used only when the Saviors aren't an option. (2x)LC Aegis Heavy Machinegun (2x)1 WT 0 PWR - Anti-personnel and the anti-missile defense once the Hellfire missiles have been depleted. Holds 500 rounds, fires at 2 rounds a second, somewhat on the slow side for a MG. Hellfire Swarm Missile System 3 WT 2 PWR - Instead of the usual missile systems designed for a sure-kill attack, the Hellfire Swarm Missiles are meant to take down other missiles. Extremely small(think water bottle size), and jammed with explosives, the missiles are fired, and destroys large, singular missiles with direct impact, or multiple small missiles with a proximity detonation. These missile can be used for bombardment on unarmored targets, with the small and nimble size making it difficult to knock down. However, due to their original purpose, the missile is rather fragile, and will be destroyed from concentrated point-defense, while armor basically shrugs off these small missiles(although unarmored weak spots are a different story). Built into both shoulders, each side can fire sixteen(4x4), totaling at thirty-two missiles. Class 4 Energy Shield 5 WT 10 PWR - Having lower maneuverability than lighter MAS, the Sovereign was built with an Energy Shield designed to take hits. Large Alloy Shield 4 WT 0 PWR - In addition to the energy shield, the Sovereign also wields a large alloy shield in the off-hand, capable of covering two thirds of the MAS from the front. Heavy Alloy Plating 7 WT 0 PWR - As if the alloy and energy shield weren't enough, there is also the external plating that adds protection onto the Sovereign. Sonar Stakes 1 WT 2 PWR - A system with more than one use, this has seen a lot more use on the Sovereign than any other system asides from the Calamity Artillery. On the ground, the Sonar Stakes allows the MAS to lock itself on the ground, while providing detection capabilities against ground units. Most importantly, this lowers the movement of the MAS from the recoil of the 150mm cannon when anchored. Smart Target AI 0 WT 3 PWR - By allowing the Sovereign to track up to 40 targets instead of the usual 5, the Hellfire Swarm Missiles are now capable of being a formidable anti-missile system, in conjuction with the Aegis MG. Enhanced Internal Radar Suite 0 WT 3 PWR - A very useful system, especially for a MAS with the range capability such as the Sovereign, the radar system is a powerful tool to locate possible targets from long range. Advanced Internal Targeting Suite 0 WT 3 PWR - Yet another powerful tool, this system is almost mandatory for utilizing the Calamity Artillery, most prominently in-atmosphere. Improved Reactor Output 3 WT +5 PWR - A high end customization used by pilots. Although the two talked, the child had broached upon a topic he should not have, causing Shiyami to instinctively strike, killing the child instantly. Once again hurriedly running away, Shiyami's only goal was to find someplace he could be rid of his past. It was this, that half led him to Oream Cause, a place where there are those who may be even stronger than himself, who was basically a monster compared to normal humans. Kurayami

Appearance: Another Appearance Appearance: Stands at 5'6. Her eyes shift colors between sky blue and crimson red, with shades of purple in between, depending on how much of her power she's using. Name: Kurayami Mitsugo Nickname: Yami(-chan), Black Death, Calamity Age: Appears 20(it's presumed that she's as old as the world itself) Gender: Female Powers: As a psychopomp, Kurayami has the capability to ferry lost souls across the ‘river’ to the afterlife. Or, if she chooses to do so, she can also reap a still living being’s life. Another thing that may sound surprising, is that she also has the ability to bring back someone. It is different from necromancy, as she basically finds the soul, and pushes it back into it’s body. This maaaaay create some interesting results if she were to put the wrong soul into the wrong bodies. Beware of hiding in the shadows/dark places, as Kurayami can become a shadow, and travel through them, to anywhere else that has a shadow, akin to a portal. Likewise, becoming a floating shadow allows her to become impervious to anything physical, along with healing from any physical injuries. One thing that seems to have been a misunderstanding, is that she can’t directly control souls/ghosts. She can tell them what to do, but they don’t have to listen to her. They usually do however, in fear of being sent across. Weakness: The only way to actually beat her, if you really feel suicidal enough to fight her, is to actually strike before she gets a chance to use her abilities. Surprise attacks are one of the main methods, as with her powers, she ends up underestimating just about everyone else. If she does not believe you can win against her, she will hold back, which can be used against her. Also, those who can manipulate death, can actually control her physically. She will complain, but will do as she’s told. Skills: Despite appearances, Kurayami is rather capable of teaching. Hobbies: Enjoys watching others Personality: Eccentric would be the most fitting description for Kurayami. Being as old as she is, she has a habit of taking each day one at a time, enjoying them, as she has been around for the longest times. Associating and enjoying her time with others is one of her favourite past times. Probably the only reason why the school hasn’t had its secrets revealed to the general public, is due to her. Whenever there may be a likely case of a leak, Kurayami will deal with them, generally without anyone else knowing. Even the victim, who won’t remember a thing afterwards. Although this is probably due to her appeared age, but she quite often gets mistaken as a student. This causes the psychopomp no end of distress during class, when she is attempting to teach. If she isn’t trying to teach however, she would be perfectly fine with being called Yami-chan Background: Kurayami’s past is rather shrouded in mystery, one which she doesn’t ever elaborate one. However, it seems that those of the supernatural have heard of her, or even met her, multiple times if they have been existing for a long time as well. Optionals:
