Don't worry BC isn't trolling you. If you're wondering how I know this, it's because both BC and me come from the same site and have both participated in RPs together. He's a seasoned roleplayer. His only downside is he usually creates OP characters trying to get the most advantages as possible. :p

But yes, you can trust him. Also I came to say I am still interested in this game but I will not be able to create my character today. Tomorrow I should have most if not all of it completed. (Probably.)

I know that feeling, tryign to barely touch the limits, without going over.
Once you have enough experience though(and a good amount of creativity and ability to explain things out), even a mediocre character can be OP.
Also, with time, you start knowing how to hit that limit without breaking it, and without needing to confirm. Unless it's your first time with a certain character type, then that is a new experience.

Also, which category of magic style would...well...seductively draining through a kiss be >.>?
Charm?
Hmm... Would you mind maybe picking another weapon, and that can be like her "last resort" type of thing? It's a cool idea, so I'd like to see you use it, it just concerns me. So if it's her last resort, maybe you could say she isn't sure how the serum will effect people, so she tries not to use it since she doesn't like hurting people.

Also, if you wanted to play the crew's "medic" or scientist or something along those lines, I think she'd be good for it. Up to you, though, just an idea. (She can still fight, of course.)

If you want to play with serums and concoctions, there is a popular one for steampunk era.

White Phosphorous bombs.
Considering the ship's are wood/metal, and their lifted by ballons of HYDROGEN...:3
Residental weaponsmith on a different site, and fan of weapons here.

do flintlocks even use gun powder?? *facepalm* cuz I said mine did. I don't know

Flintlocks, yes, they do use gunpowder, in the method of pouring the powder down the muzzle of the barrel, followed by the lead ball, and finally being pushed down with a rod.

Then a percussion cap to act as the primer is set, and you pull back the hammer. You probably can guess the rest.

I was thinking of my character having duel pistols, but since you said you're looking for black powder firearms, would black powder revolvers be okay? Or are we sticking to flintlock style weapons?

There are revolver style guns(my character has them as well), but they are loaded with paper cartridges. Search up Chassepot rifle as a popular example of a weapon that fires paper rounds.

However, some important things to note about paper rounds.

First, you have to make each one separately, and by hand. If your character doesnt have the patience, get them to associate with someone who is patient~
second, maintenance parts for revolvers is harder to come by than single shot guns, and are also less durable than single shots, due to the amount of moving components.
And third, paper rounds, the paper itself is consumed, but leaves burnt residue and fouls the gun barrel after several rounds, making accuracy worse, or even impossible to aim far.
Also, side note, 5-6 round chamber for revolvers.

This is really interesting, I didn't even know there was another kind of gunpowder. Also:

Black powder, hell as powerful. Compare the normal fireworks with an illegal black powder firework. Now blow them both up. Have fun~
Ohayou~!
How much SP would be required to, well, ++ or +++ a style?
Trying to find the amount of SP we start with >.>
Needs halpz~
I was thinking, after the bank heist, perhaps we could start running multiple heists at once from time to time? I.e. smaller jobs, smaller teams. I did that sort of thing in a special forces RP I ran a couple years back, it let characters interact with others a lot better, since they were in a smaller group. It'd be something like: Werner, Juan, and James rob a tech firm, while Mike, Jim, Charlotte and Angelo take on an armored car. Obviously not every time -- I'm interested to see the dynamic that develops from the bank heist, with all members aboard -- but maybe once in a while to shake things up. What do you guys think?

Already got that covered :3
Beta testing games requires alot of starting cash though.
Just realized something...
How does a Lycanthrope carry stuff in animal form?
I know wolves and the like would have less of a problem, but...well....a crow....>.>
