Something about this. I still don't fully understand to what extent his mind has been altered, though, so maybe it's not him so much as it is the effects of recent events regarding Isabella. Either way, it seems like his short term memory capabilities aren't quite all there anymore to me. ...I might just be overthinking it, though. It just caught my attention in a strange way is all, so I've been curious for a while.

What dose give you that impression I also hope you don't mix not caring and being forgetful up. Also he's undermine control that keeps going In and out not to mention he's missing some memeory so he's a confused guy and it's making him upset that he's losing control of his life.
