"Umm... Liz..." Liz answered softly. She smiled shyly at him. She was suppose to be a leader but truthfully it was a role she sucked at.

"You're Halcyon correct? Pretty name by the way." Dante said with a wink inspecting her further she was too nice to be any of the other factions that's how he knew she was halcyon, that and she had a way about her that was inviting.

Liz looked up surprised when someone sat next to her. "Oh....umm... hello." Liz said softly. She looked around wondering if he had mistaken her for someone else.

"I don't believe we've met before my names Dante. And yours is?" He asked with a warm smile he wanted her to feel comfortable even if they had just met.

"Now we couldn't allow that now would we?" Lachesis told him with a smile. "You will find that you have no more affinity with the animal of your choice as a normal human. We want to know that the animal you chose respects you. Affinity is easy to manipulate."

"So we've been reduced to becoming mundane for now?" He asked with a laugh he knew they would be treated like humans for now but there could be problems with the animals people choose didn't respect them.

Liz looked around. The school was small enough that everyone should know one another but large enough that it was still possible to hid in a crowd. She wished she wasn't so shy. She felt they all needed to be as close as they could be. They would need each other to survive this school. Deep in though she waited for her food to arrive.

Dante noticed a girl waiting for her food, he decided to go sit down across from her. "Hello." He said looking at her she seemed rather timid to be honest very quiet try's to hide in the crowd and avoid conflict.

"Some of us have a natural affinity to animals wouldn't it be too easy for is to do this?" Alastair asked curiously thinking of his ties with serpents.

She doubted she'd even be allowed to use her power after her breakout, but you never knew with Vlad. In Lucys mind, he was just a psychopath. Who happened to have power over everyone here.

"What was your punishment then I can smell blood? Also that's good the less psychopaths the better, as for thinking I got off better I wouldn't be so sure of that. Removed his had from her and looked into her eyes, "Yes he's my father by law atleast." Alastair said lockig gazes with her.

Lucy nodded in understanding before looking him up and down. He had cuts along his arms and legs, but they seemed to be healing. "He might have, I'm a criminal. Why are you here? You don't look like the criminal type."She inquired, curious despite herself. She hid her emotions with a blank face and a level tone. Did he know Vlad? It would explain why he could speak so freely towards him. It was clear that he was an experiment, his arm made that obvious. Lucy scanned the people around her absent mindedly. Vlad had just walked in with Cassandra and another new girl. She shifted, trying her best not to agitate her wounds. They had stopped bleeding the previous night, but one wrong move and they could open again. She shook her head, fresh and old memories alike flooding back to her. She looked back at the others, trying desperately to focus on anything else.

"Hmm you're analytical but I wouldn't be so sure of your assumptions of character, I would make the ideal criminal would I not? What makes you think I'm not a murder?" Alastair asked changing his expression back to his apathetic expression. "What did you do?" He asked looking at her cuts he put his human hand on her arm to feel the cuts.
