Any power gained through the study of magic is not encoded into the DNA, and as such cannot be assimilated. Gods, or other beings who have arcane powers by nature, can form a source of arcane power. However, she can't gain skills from others. If she were able to do this, she could quite rapidly become unstoppable.
Furthermore, I'm placing a limit on the amount of power she's able to wield. She can increase her powers by 'assimilating' others, but if you don't fully absorb the target it's only temporary. Furthermore, there's a limit to how many powers she can 'contain' at once, meaning that once she reaches a certain threshold she's going to have to perform trade-offs as opposed to simply gaining power.
I place these limits to prevent her from snowballing, I hope you don't mind.
I do, because now she's useless against alucard, who is about thousands of times worse than her.
And before you say anything, kishin and asura are different chars. Until I change kishin's name, that's how it will be.

Powers: theta-d can absorb the dna of almost any living being and integrate it into her own. Allowing her to not only take their form, but also allowing her to access their memories and powers (as long as their powers are a part of their dna). This is a result of her unstable dna, as such it is considered to be more along the lines of genetic assimilation if her blood or saliva gets in someone's system. Even if it ends up in the person's stomach. Her dna can also evolve to "contain" more genetic material. This is both involuntary and constant
