It keeps whining and biting. Soon however, it speaks in a shrill voice."Food......I need food." It rasps out.
"Oh. Okay. What do you want to eat?" I ask

It whines again, and then tries to bite the container again.
"I could've sworn that activated the translator...." I say

It slinks off, and scuttles about looking for something. It then whines, as if trying to talk to you.
"....." I press a button on the container "whatcha looking for fluffy?" I ask

It hisses, and then starts ramming the walls of the container...it must of understood what you had just said.
I laugh "calm down fluffy. I was only messing with you." I say as I look at the creature "I created you. Didn't I? It would be a perfectly good waste of dna if I killed you."

It scuttles to the edge of the container it is held in, and attempts to bite the walls with large mandibles. It fails, and it then slinks off and watches you.
"that's a bad .... whatever the hell you are." I say to the creature "now don't move while I dissect you."

Slowly, it starts to generate a small insect like creature. It looks oddly cute, and dangerous.
"...." I examine the new creature ".... I'll name YOU fluffy."

You see that the dna is extremely adaptable, and with it being near new dna it is starting to take bits from it.((....you may want to isolate it, or risk losing something valuable.))
I isolate the dna "that would've been bad." I say "good thing I took care of it."
