*as soon as the hand hits her, Maria's hand, along with Maria, is paralysed* eve: that was a mixture of a paralysis spell, and an exploitation of the link to your hand.
Eve: *thinking* well, I was never a fan of this... *she fires an energy blast into the air which splits apart and rains down. The new energy blasts are all aimed at Maria with the intent to disintegrate her*
Eve: looks like I'll have to go all out. *unleashes a flurry of energy blasts at Maria. These seem stronger than the ones used before*
Eve: *releases a massive amount of energy around her. Destroying the tendrils and allowing her to break loose*
Eve: *smiles as her wavelength intensifies. Disrupting the synchronization*
Eve: *dodges the tendrils* okay, this just got more interesting.
Eve: hell no. *blasts the hand*
Eve: *readies an energy blast* .....
Eve: *slowly descends into the pit*
