@Anime We did, but that was with Thomas and Dead mainly running the show, when Knight revived it he took a different take. Old Academy had more of a 'comic logic, anything goes' feel, whereas this one has a more 'gritty realism' feel.

Sorry Caits, I've had to play nurse to my mum for the last few days (she's fine, just useless) so my time was kinda dominated with that, also haven't heard anything back from Avan :/

I'm also not sure what to do, I mean I should probably start a class but it seems pointless seeing as we only have 4 characters in action..

"I see no reason to settle with four walls and a bed when I can go some place far more to my taste. Besides, I'm not sure how many animals I'd be able to smuggle in before someone noticed."

Kalinda sighed, "Because its how I have always been treated" She said with a shrug. Then she smiled slightly, "If I wanted to, you wouldn't see me, so then you wouldn't be worried" She said, letting herself lean back in her chair.

"And if I wanted to you wouldn't see me, which would make me very hard to find." Kat quickly fired back, her smile changing back into a smirk. "Though it was a poor choice of words on my behalf. Bemused, even impressed, but unless you had an army at your back I don't think I'd be worried." She finished with a light laugh.

"If you believe yourself to be less than those who surround you, then why should you expect them to treat you any other way?" She said bluntly, finishing her lunch and pushing the bowl to the side. "And as for my elusiveness - I don't live here, and I am sure to leave as soon as the day is over. If you had been seeing me outside of class I would be worried."

I'd hate for this to just die, it's maybe 3 years old to me, that's like a sixth of my life! :L

And sorry Caits, it's not that I'm ignoring you, I just like to give others a chance to post instead of taking over the entire RP with one conversation. However when there isn't anyone else posting it's not so easy. I'll send Avan a PM, see if that helps :)

Kat said with a shrug, eating some more of her lunch. When Kalinda asked why her, she smiled. "Why not you? You are not less than anyone else, and - unless I'm wrong - you don't appear to be busy. Even I am capable of idle, innocent talk over food; not every irrelevant action has to be part of a grand plan."

"And you consider me most people? I'm wounded." Kat toyed, the smile never fading. "And as for the latter I will just have to be careful around you, and you around I." It was true in many ways: exposing Kalinda to all that was inside her would be cruel and most likely unnecessary. There was also the ugly truth that no matter how well she lied her emotions were not so easily masked and could potentially give everything away. She would have to try look for some solution to that, though the instances she called to mind usually only ever had rather severe measures.

"Yes many will have died since him but none of them will come back to life with words, so I doubt it really matters much to them." At Kalinda's question Kat smirked and mischief lighted her eyes as she spoke in a much lighter tone. "No I didn't, but that doesn't mean I have any ulterior motives if that's what you're suggesting. It can be dull sitting alone, maybe I like the company."
