Unfortunately my knowledge of DC is awful (though I'd kind of always been hoping for Harley Quinn, I don't know, the idea of her and Deadpool always seemed good to me :P)

However with the visions of her fear and Flood creating ice all about the place Kat is going to freak
"How is this school still standing?" She muttered to herself as the light flood in and the walls crumbled. Fear gas? She couldn't linger on the thought though as she saw Flood charge towards her. Eyes widening she took a half step back but it was too late, he was on her, she threw her arms up and... he crashed right through as the image splintered and faded away. She revealed herself from where she had been standing a short distance away. "Honestly, have you forgotten who I am?"

Kat turned to reevaluate the situation and it was then the gas surrounded her. There was a brief moment of understanding before it began to take effect. The feeling was not unknown to her, this situation however was. She went to reach for the knife that wasn't there, her hands grasping empty air, hands she daren't not look down to. "That is a good trick." Her tone suggested it was anything but, as she turned her burning wildfire green eyes to stare straight through his mask.
Sorry if I made any mistakes there, trying to catch up and getting a little confused as to who people are referring to at times, feel free to call me out on anything!
When Flood leaped towards her she was prepared, countering his attacks. However she could see his plan and that it was working; she hadn't planned on relying on her magic but if needs must. Landing a blow to his chest, it was accompanied by a blast of magical energy which would send him flying back, though cause no pain or damage of it's own accord.

And then the room was black. She fell still and silent, and closed her eyes (after all Nicholas had shouted out their plan and the room was dark anyways). She felt the vines begin to snake around her legs and then a brief but intense burst of light. Well, there was the flash. Bending down she wrapped her fingers around the vines. In the darkness they would not see the blackness which seeped into the greenery, how it corrupted from the inside out. The vines shrank away and the help from Kalinda was the last step as she kicked herself free.

I'm fine with it too, that makes 3 so you're good to go
She'd seen Flood throw the grenade and considering she was less than willing to immerse herself in the cacophony of emotions she paused, waiting for the inevitable and shielded her eyes as the light flashed. As soon as it was done she took advantage of Floods blindness and gave him a solid kick to his side.
Oops, internet choked there, ignore this
Can this be fixed by putting Kyra and Devika together then? (if they're the right characters, sorry, it's late)
She shrugged and the spear faded from view as they took their positions. Watching silently as the bullet fell to the ground, Kat immediately looked to Flood. Could be a risk but given what she had seen of him so far he seemed most likely to attack first, and he proved her right. However before she could act he was pushed back. She smiled at Kalinda's words. "And I shall have yours, providing I don't fall too soon." She smirked though her attention was quickly drawn back to the fight upon feeling a pain in her shin.

She fell to her knee but didn't pause, as she grabbed Nicholas' ankle and pulled it away from him. Seeing Flood approaching Kat had no time to spend worrying as to the impact of that as she quickly stood and began to defend and return the attacks. Her fighting style did not reflect her strength, instead favouring sweeping, swirling moves with agility and grace. Of course not all her hits stuck, but neither did his. She managed to capture his arm at one point, and pinning it backwards spun and tried to elbow his back.
"That's the spirit." She said as she stood up. Turning to the pair they were going to be facing she looked them over. Flood she was familiar with though this Nicholas was a stranger to her. "Suppose if we're to fight it's only right I introduce myself; I'm Kat." She flashed a charming smile before heading to one of the fighting rooms. "So, are we going to do this with weapons," she asked, her elaborate spear appearing in her hands, "or without?"
