Magneto answered Nicholas’s question before anyone had the chance to answer his. “This is not a conquest, I do not aspire to rule. Consider it more of a revolution, how once those who had been wrongfully oppressed were then freed, I will raise us to our rightful standing.”
Ignoring Magneto, Kat turned to look at Reinhardt. Hearing what he had to say she flashed a mischievous smile and said “Well I never waste my time on anything dull.” The timing made it clear that it wasn’t her he was truly interested but she saw no reason not to humour him. She faintly listened as the others spoke until there was no-one but her left. “My father has been teaching me for as long as I can remember; I’m sure you’ve seen at least some of his work. That and metals not seen in this realm for a millennia.”
“What a breadth of talents, I cannot wai-“ He began only to be interrupted by a small but persistent ringing. Pulling a device from his pocket he sighed and silenced it, before slipping it back away. “Unfortunately however, I must wait as I am needed elsewhere. Reinhardt, please take care of our guests in my absence.” And with that he stood and left the room, leaving them alone together.
