"Why else would I be here?" Of course the number of potential answers to that were endless but thinking of any plausible answers was harder. Why would the daughter of a malevolent god who had once tried to claim the realm as his own choose to defend it? She didn't flinch under his gaze, looking straight back at him. So much like his father, but Thor was dead and to so willingly dismiss his suspicions did not bode well for Victor either.

And then a teammate - that would take some getting used to - strolled over, spouting peace. Looking him over quickly Kat smirked. "Do not fret, just a little history to settle." Before she could say anymore the door opened, drawing her attention to the impressive, though older, figure. Heroes. They were not all heroes here. Probably not something to voice in current company however, so she remained silent even though most may agree with her.

Was he still staring? It wasn't a situation she was unfamiliar with, increasingly so on Midgard, but they were strangers. This could be potentially very useful, or a huge pain; either way it was something to keep careful watch of. With a quick glance back to Victor she walked through the door with the rest.
@makarov That probably depends on who you ask :P

And yeah, we have Chatzy in another RP I'm in, timezones can be problematic but when you're discussing ideas it can be so useful
@makarov Maybe even a little of both, I guess time will tell
"Victor, how pleasant it is to see you again. Though I must admit the circumstances are certainly unexpected." She met his hostility with an ease and composure, and a disarming smile that didn't quite warm her eyes. Kat was as equally prepared to defend herself if the need came but had far more to lose by making the first move. Unfortunately she was trapped playing by their rules for now, though that didn't mean she couldn't poke the bear.

"I am wounded that you think I am ever anywhere but exactly where I want to be." She said, meeting his blue eyes with her green. "I am not a dog to be summoned or dragged about on a lead." Not that anything she said would be believed or trusted though, her family name was made sure of that. "I am here only because I choose to be." It hadn't been the first impression she had envisioned but it saved time on all the introductions.
Foolish. Reckless. Stubborn. She couldn't distinguish her words from her fathers at this point, though she was sure they both shared the sentiments. She hadn't thought at all and now her spite-fueled actions had landed her... here. Why Midgard? Yes, that was probably spite too, that and the knowledge Loki couldn't follow. It hadn't taken Kat long to realise how small this world was so it wasn't truly a surprise when this group had found her. And so she found herself here, a caged weapon as far as she could tell.

Technically she couldn't complain about her treatment; there had been no bars or chains so she'd been sure not to give them any reason to change that. Nor had she complained when the escort of two agents came to lead her to this meeting of the new avengers. At what point does spite become malice? She wore Midgardian clothing with no discernible weapons on show, but her roots evidently won out as she dressed in stylish leather. "As much as I appreciate the company, is this really necessary?" Her question went unanswered but it appeared they'd arrived so she didn't push the issue.

Walking in she gave a brief look around to look at her 'teammates'. She hadn't expected to recognise anyone - she'd been here a matter of months - but that was proven wrong with one glance at the broad back and blonde haired individual speaking to another. She didn't need to see the hammer at his hip. "Oh." She breathed, with a quick side glance to one of the agents. Getting her here hadn't been the problem, what happened when she and Victor were in the same room however...

"This was brave of you, and potentially very foolish." She spoke clearly to the agents who escorted her, but didn't take her eyes from Victor.
@makarov That's fine! Looks like things may get awkward very quickly
Before I start writing my intro, @makarov do you want to play it as if they know each other? Or that they've never met? If you don't care I'll just jump in but no harm in asking :)

Eldkatla Lokidóttir

Age 20

Parents Loki and unknown

Appearance At a first glance Kat could easily be written off as looking identical to her father. She is tall, standing at 6'1", and shares his distinctive pale skin, green eyes, and black hair. However at a closer look you can see her mother is in her face as well. The sharp features of her father have been softened into something more charming and alluring. She does not have his lean and hungry look and although not a conventional Asgardian beauty something about her draws the eye.

Powers Kat possesses physical abilities far superior to humans, an increased lifespan, superhuman strength, immune to terrestrial diseases, and resistant to conventional injury. She is also a quickly becoming a powerful sorceress with many magical abilities.

Bio With the God of Mischief as your father a normal upbringing is more or less out of the question. For as long as she can remember her father has been teaching her. She's been learning how to wield weapons, how to fight, how to manipulate, but most of all her magic. Kat doesn't resent him for her childhood though, understanding the necessity of it all now. However it wasn't a stable childhood, with Kat in constant movement in and between realms. Not much detail is really known about her early years so why or how she came to be on Earth is equally mysterious. After numerous invasions from the skies the Midgardians were more prepared than she had given them credit for. S.H.I.E.L.D. located her and gave her the ultimatum: go with them or go very far away. With limited options she took them up on their offer, for now atleast.

People are quick to point out her flaws: a vain and stubborn girl, more occupied satisfying her hedonism than worrying about anyone else. It doesn't worry her, if they are willing to underestimate her it is their own downfall they are orchestrating. Because in truth, there is so much more. Granted there is nothing innocent about her, Kat is amorous and sarcastic, favouring a macabre sense of humour. However she is intelligent and sharp, able to win favour and fight wars with words alone; she's truly Machiavellian. Despite her penchant for chaos she seems to always be composed. That is not to say she does not anger, but it is not in anger that she should be feared. When she falls silent is when you should beware.
Ahahaa, what could possibly go wrong?!
Would there be room for a child of Loki in this?
