( There problem is I am only vaguely aware of Loki's skills. And what I pulled up on Seidr it could be anything. It would be like me say I'm throwing magic. I need an idea if the blast is fire, ice, earth, energy, or air.)

What I've kind of created in my own head based on bits and pieces I've read in comics and mythology is that their is a sort magical energy provided by the tree of life which kind of goes all through the nine realms that sorcery harnesses and it's that what I call seidr, which is a term I do use interchangeably with magic energy. I won't touch on elemental magic because I feel like that is stepping on others powers too much and I don't want to do that.. Hope that clears things up a little bit but maybe not :L
Sorry, RPing fight scenes doesn't come naturally to me, if I misunderstand something or you don't understand something let me know :)
(Fair point! If I say something like that you can presume I mean a kind of disc/bolt sort of thing - for ease I'm presuming all sorcery is similar so it will be close to what Loki throws around while fighting - unless specified otherwise but I'll keep that in mind in the future ^.^)

She saw the surprise on her face but could see no reason to delay with idle chat, an attack would have to had been launched sooner or later. As she paused and concentrated Kat paused too, her fingers moving constantly on her right hand which was now cloaked in a hazy green cloud within which was specks of light reminiscent of stars in the sky. If Katherin continued with the long pauses she'd probably have to force an attack but the first time she would wait; in age alone she had an advantage.

When she saw the ice forming Kat wore a wry smile, though it was for own benefit more than anyone else. Ice, of course, the feeling from before made a lot more sense now. But could she create ice cold enough...? However she had been wrapped up in her own thoughts and didn't see her launch the icicle. She quickly ducked underneath, hearing it smash behind her but jumped up quickly afterwards. She didn't take the same rest that Katherin had. She quickly fired three discs of seidr in rapid procession before disappearing, only to reappear moments later with two identical duplicates.
Seeing the girl, Katherins, face when she walked in Kat couldn't help but smile. "That wasn't for you, I just hate Mimic." She said, referring to the incident with the dagger. Eyeing the girl up she couldn't help but feel some sort of draw to her, not in an emotional sense but there was something rolling off the girl she couldn't quite place. Oh well, no better way to find out.

She was about to summon her spear before deciding against it, the girl didn't seem to have any extreme strength and she didn't really want to kill her, best to rely on the sorcery. "I suppose we should start dancing then." There was no sport in fighting full strength against someone much weaker so until she had gathered just how strong Katherin was she wasn't going to be going full force. Instead she fired contained blasts of seidr at the girls feet to unbalance her while keeping light on her toes herself, waiting to see how she would respond.

(I learnt that norse magic was called seidr and that sounds a lot more impressive than 'oooohh magic' so I'll be using that a lot, but it's really me trying to sound a lot more impressive than I really am :P)
(Sorry Knight and Avan for kind of undoing your previous posts, I just can't think of another way to start this, sorry again!!)

Seeing no-one offering to spar Mimic sighed and shook his head. "Ok then, seeing as we have no volunteers I suppose I will have to start things off." He paused as he scanned the room before continuing on. "How about... Katherin and Kat." He said, wearing a self-satisfied smile.

Upon hearing her name Kat was dragged from her thoughts, the dagger stopping suddenly in her hands. She narrowed her eyes as she looked at Mimic, trying to figure out his motive here, but stood up regardless. She didn't know this Katherin but she could only presume she would follow her into the room so no point waiting. Walking through the desks towards the door, as she passed Mimics desk she stabbed the dagger that was in her hands into it before walking in and turning to see who she was supposed to be fighting.
Me either, I'll think up something, give me a minute! :)
Okay, now we're getting somewhere! Woo! :P Do you want to start, or shall I?
The offer for Kat still stands but I was going to let Caits make the final decision, I did come along second after all :P
It's such a good film, I love it <3

But I mean Loki is hardly very welcoming of his history, he does kill Laufey after all so he won't be telling people.. Thor tells the Avengers he's adopted but not from who.. Hmmm....

But if you've already told Caits you'll spar with their character that's okay, I'd feel bad just taking over..

Katherine should fight Kat.

KAT FIGHT!

Okay, obvious joke made I don't mind. There would be extra incentive for her not to be touched by the ice for fear of turning blue... Semi-related, I don't remember if Loki actually being a Jotun is common knowledge or not...
