When they arrived she jumped off the back of the bike and took off the helmet, shaking out her hair. Throwing the helmet back to John she smiled and said, "Come on then." She turned and walked into the bar, pushing the door with enough force that it would still be open by the time John got to it. Popular music played and although it had nothing to boast it had everything a bar would need. Though what perhaps was more noticeable was the change in her: she wore an easy smile, gave a small wave to the man serving, the cynicism and harshness melting away.

And so the evening began, after eating they took it in turns while ordering rounds but neither drank to excess. He beat her at a game of pool but she got her own back at darts. The sun fell from the sky and was replaced by the moon and the odd star battling to be seen through the bright city lights. At a time that was probably too late they left and parted, him driving off on his bike and her disappearing off to wherever it was that she did live.

The morning after Kat woke and sat up, looking outside and silently playing with her hair. She eventually stood and padded off to the bathroom to begin preparing for another day at the mad house.
She shouted back the location of the bar and looked about at the world speeding past. It was nowhere near the thrill of a beast, nor the elegance of a car, but there was a certain rush as it weaved down the roads.
"I'm a showoff, it's what we do." She said with a small shrug, by way of explanation. Taking the helmet in her hands she sighed but put it on regardless. "Try not to enjoy this too much." She said as she sat behind him.
"I'm thinking leading a frost beast through one of the most populated cities in America will probably lead to some ramifications... perhaps more so for me. Ending the night with authorities doesn't sound particularly fun for me." She said with an arch smile. "He's more of an open space only sort of deal, especially as it turns out he doesn't like people very much."

John nods as he stands to his feet and replies, "Alright then, let's go." After a moment's pause, he asks, "Are you planning on stealing the booze, or do you have something else in mind?"

Following his lead, she stood and then laughed at his question. "I appreciate that you hold me in such high regard. No, I was actually planning on using that magical thing.. money. I am many things but I do like to think a thief is not one of them." She said as she began walking through the corridors. "Then again it turns out that here, and with a face like mine, men become oh so generous and drinks just appear." She smirked as she walked of the school and saw the car park. "Oh, yes, transport, how is this going to work?" She'd long given up on relying on cars but she appreciated she had an advantage there.

(Sorry this took so long, my brain is a little fried right now)
As we seem to be on the topic might as well say I have 7 exams between 29th April - 23rd May so I'm probably going to be a little unreliable as I panic and cry and eat all my easter chocolate in one go, just letting you know :)
At the mention of money she frowned. "We could drink every bar in New York dry and the only thing we'd have to worry about would be the location of the nearest hospital. Honestly, have you forgotten who I am? And a couple of hours is very ambitious on your behalf... I suppose we could eat." She said with a small shrug.

Anthony, I'm not sure yet racist I haven't planned that far ahead.

As for Kat.. BURN THE WITCH!!

No, not really, but I haven't actually thought about it, most likely her underestimating one of the pawns in her imagined game and them figuratively, or literally, stabbing her in the back

But she has a long lifespan, who knows, maybe humans will find a way to overpower the Asgardians in the future or something of equally bad consequences for her

John moves so he's sitting next to Kat and asks, "When do you want to go and where are we going?"

She'd watched the ceremony from a spot near the back but with little interest, she didn't know the girl and her position on earth's views on heroes and villains was probably clear enough at this point. So she quietly sat trying to ignore most people in the room, rolling her eyes at the sound of the paint bomb and Flood's shouting. She relented though when she felt John sit beside her. "Well, presuming you want to stay in the country we're going to have to wait a few hours. And if it's seedy you want, just some dingy bar in a dark corner of the city, unless you can think of anything better."
Well then, I suppose we'll all have to start posting a lot more! TO THE IC! *dashes away leaving a cloud of dust*
