My gawd, the spelling. If I didn't read so much, I never would have learned to spell well. Both my parents and all of my previous teachers are horrible spellers. It's pretty sad when college educated adults trusted with the responsibility to teach children constantly have to ask a 10 or 11 year old how to spell something.

Latin is easier than Spanish. I took Spanish in middle school, but haven't used it since then so I can't speak it anymore. At best, I can understand bits and pieces of Spanish conversations. I wish I had taken Latin first though, because it would have made learning Spanish easier.
