Ben yawns and stretches as he wakes up in MM's classroom. When he opens his eyes, the first thing he sees is Connor's worried face. Ben laughs as he stands up and says, "Don't worry about it kid, it's not like I'm really dead." He leans close and whispers in Connor's ear, "But now I know that you're capable of murder. If you ever kill an innocent or an ally of ours, I will end you." With a slap on Connor's back, Anthony turns to his other classmates and says, "Well, that was fun."

Anthony opens his eyes as he is once again in the Academy, and immediately approaches Katherine. He sits next to her and says, "I just want you to know that I didn't mean anything that I said to you. I was merely trying to anger you so we could defeat the red freak of nature."

As Katherine freezes herself, small, frozen, red droplets appear on her skin. Once her entire body is covered with the red material, the droplets slide off her skin, fall to the ground, and explode into thousands of minuscule pieces. Anthony turns his back to Katherine, faces the others, and bows with a flourish.

At that moment, everything goes black.

The Martian Manhunter turns off the simulation, then waits for his students to come to awaken from their slumber.
