Professor McCoy clears his throat and glances at his watch. He then apologizes to the class, "Sorry everyone, that firs ground took longer than I had planned, so we'll pick up where we left off tomorrow. I overheard some of you asking why I wanted you to do this without your powers, and the answer is simple enough. It was hilarious for me to watch you guys have to relearn how not to depend on your powers. Class dismissed, well done." Within minutes of being dismissed, the ladies and gentlemen had disappeared from the gym. Some went to the locker rooms to shower and change, while others rushed to their dorms, hoping to get back before their next class.

Anthony and Ben head into the locker rooms and each take a quick shower.

John walks up to Kalinda once they were outside of the gym and smiles as he extends a hand. "Hey," his deep voice booms, "I'm John, and you are?"

And he's back.

Anthony nods and replies, "Unfortunately, yes. However, the surgery would take less than an hour, and you'd make a full recovery within a week. I'll give you some time to decide, because there's something else I want to talk about, but I'd like to do it in private."

Anthony looks up at a red-faced Sue and nods in consent when she holds up the note. He glances around, then stands and leads her to the corner of the gym. He smiles slightly and begins to sign, "I know you love those headphones, but I have an idea for something that'll work even better. I've designed the blueprints for wireless headphones that would be controlled completely mentally. They'd work just as well as your current ones, but they wouldn't be nearly as bulky or likely to slide off. Are you interested?"
