John turns to face Kijani and grins widely before putting on a poker face. He gives her an exaggerated bow and says, "My apologies, Your Majesty. Here, let me attempt to ratify the situation." (He means rectify the situation.) He snatches a few napkins from a nearby student and presents them to Connor with a flourish, "My apologies, oh wonderful page. I merely desired to duel the knight you serve under." He glances at Kijani and asks with a smirk, "Better?"

Ah. I just saw back and cafeteria....no table.

Yeah, the touchpad on my laptop is weird. It randomly moves my cursor, causing me to highlight stuff and overwrite it on accident. By the time I notice something is wrong, there's a bunch to fix, and I sometimes forget a word or two.

John chuckles, "You're the one that turned this whole thing nasty. I was more than prepared to have a friendly little fight, but you ruined that." He walks around the table and stands in front of Connor once again. He leans down so their faces are level and whispers, "If you want to do something, do it, if you think you can handle the consequences. Otherwise," John stands straight and backhands Connor hard, then continues loudly, "sit the Hell down!"
