John shakes his head with a small smile and says, "No, I already got my payback. That day after school, I jumped him and literally tore him a new one, if you catch my drift. The lucky bastard picked up my healing abilities though, and was better by the next day." He chuckles, "I got one hell of a beating when he started classes again the next week, but it was so worth it."

Ben nods with a grin, "Oh, so he's your knight in shining armor? That's so sweet."

John's gaze lowers as he says, "Mimic really overestimated how much of Plastic Man's regeneration factor Collin had. Long story short, Mimic froze Collin then shattered him." He looks back at Kat, pain obvious in his expression and continues, "When I began training to be a hero, I knew on some level that one day I might lose a friend. I just never thought that it'd be a teacher that caused the death."

Ben grabs a simple bowl of oatmeal and sits at a table before asking Katherine, "So Kathy, do you mind if I call you that? How did a beautiful girl like you end up with a dope like Jack?"

John laughs, "I have no idea what you're talking about. I never pick fights." His chuckle fades as he remarks, "You may not have noticed, but Mimic is holding back more than he used to. After the 'accident' with Plastic Man's son, Batman started placing more restrictions on what can and can't be done."

Anthony shakes his head in disagreement and replies, "I think our priority should be getting some sort of shelter. Maybe there's a cave or something that we could stay in? We also need to get firewood so we can make a signal fire if a plane or something passes by."
