(What's wrong Avan, don't want Anthony moving in on Jack's girl? You just had to copy Anthony, although it wasn't quite as charismatic, IMHO )
A voice comes over the intercom, "Attention students: your lunch break is over and you have 7 minutes to reach your next class."

Anthony smiles and nods to Sue as she leaves to find another seat. He returns his golden gaze to Jack and says, "You seem like a nice enough chap. Let's hope you don't do anything to change my opinion of you" He strides away, sitting in the corner of the room where he had an unobstructed view of the whole classroom.

Anthony writes on the paper, Your calligraphy is nearly as beautiful as you.. He turns to the newcomer with a smile. His eyes turn a strange golden hue as he greets Jack, "Hello friend, I don't believe we've met. My name is Anthony. Do you two know each other?"

Avan, I think you have Anthony and John confused. Anthony hasn't spoken to Ben.

Ben sighs, "Don't worry so much, I wasn't high enough for the fall to kill me. I think we still have about another 30 minutes before class."

John walks by Kit and the Parkers after he loads up a tray with food. He sits next to Ben and says, "Hey klutzo, how ya doin'?" He looks at Kit and answers, "We have this really awesome VR room. You sit in a chair and have these electrodes hooked up to your head. While you're in the simulation, the VR matchine makes you forget that you're in a simulation. That way, you react just like you would in real life. It's just like the Matrix, but there aren't any evil robot overlords."

Anthony frowns for a moment while thinking, "What's her problem? Those headphones aren't connected to a music player, so they must be sound canceling headphones. Maybe her power is extremely acute hearing?" He walks to the teacher's desk and rummages through it before producing a notebook and a pen. He walks next to her and writes on it, Is this better?

Exactly Avan. It's only the first day at school, this is just a time for everyone to decide what classes their characters will have and for friendships and rivalries to be form. Think of it as the exposition in a movie or novel.
