John decides that yet another fight isn't worth it, and that food is more important. He picks up a Cuban sandwich and looks for a table to sit at.

Lost and Forgotten

After about thirty minutes of wandering, Anthony stumbles upon a stream of clear, cool water. He walks along its banks for another twenty minutes before discovering the mouth of an underground cave of sorts. Knowing that the others should be aware of his discovery, Anthony begins walking back towards the beach.

Ben shrugs and begins eating again as he says, "I don't have anything to explain." He sighs as he continues, "Look, little bro. I understand what you're trying to do, I really do. And I appreciate it, but just stop. I need to figure some things out about myself, then maybe I'll consider going to Professor X. If you think he can help you though, go for it."

Anthony signs in reply, "There was some stuff I wanted to research, but it can definitely wait until another day.I'd love it if you introduced me to some of the music you like. Most of what I know is either classical, symphonic type stuff, or Latin music. Where would you like to study?"

Before John turns to head to the cafeteria, he overhears Matt's comment. He growls, "You don't know what you're talking about. I'm a fantastic guide if I want to be."

Ben looks Jack in the eye and says, "I think our powers are developing to reflect our personalities. You and dad seem to be focused on catching criminals, while I'm more interested in stopping them. You're getting webs, I developed poisonous fangs."

John sticks out his hand and simply says, "John."

Ben told Jack to just go.

Anthony nods and says, "It's not an easy language to learn."

John raises an eyebrow and points behind the new kid, silently asking how he walks right past it.

Anthony shrugs, "I don't mind. How long ago did you start learning to sign?"

"If you plan in living on campus, you could register for a dorm in the office. That's also where you'll be assigned your locker and choose your classes."

John, who had been on his way from the gym to the cafeteria, hears a male voice cry out that they needed guidance. He sighs, "Duty calls." He walks up to the new kid, and says, "Hey. Right now is lunch, but I can show you where to go after you eat."

Seeing the texting conversation between Sue and Katherine, Anthony frowns very slightly and return his attention to his food.

Anthony looks up as Katherine joins them, and says with his most charming smile, "Hello Ms. Drake. How are you on this fine winter morning?"
