Ben growls menacingly, "The only reason I want to hunt by myself is because you wouldn't be able to handle it. When I go hunting, making noise breaking a window will get you killed. Taking more than two seconds to kill someone will get you shot."

Ben chuckles, "You act like you have connections. Do you need a ride back to the Academy? I want to go hunting alone, but I can bring you to your dorm if you want."

Ben sighs, "Ok, maybe it was abuse, but now you've orphaned a child that may either tell what really happened or be known as the little boy who killed his own dad."

Ben follows Griffin outside, then becomes visible again as he asks, "What the hell was that? For all you know, that man might not have been abusing his son. The boy might have broken a serious rule, and that was his punishment. You're going to make a young boy take the fall for you? And do you really think that a boy as youg as him won't tell someone how a man broken into his house and killed his father?"

(I speak from experience, being struck with a belt isn't necessarily abuse. When I was younger, I had such a high pain tolerance that instead of spanking me, my parents had to use a belt for me to even be able to feel it.)

Ben had followed Griffin to the house, turning invisible when they slipped inside. He watches as Ben dispatches the old man, and waits for him to be done with the boy.

Ben drives as quickly as possible to downtown New York City then parks his car in the same parking garage as the night before. He exits his car then says to Griffin, "Alright. You want to train your hunting skills, so I'll help you. Yesterday, I followed my instincts which eventually led me to some prey. I want you to follow your instincts and I'll follow you."

Anthony, still sitting in his parked car, reads Sue's message and thinks, "I'm so close to gathering enough evidence to confront my father with, that I can be done by the end of tonight. However, the odds of me spending the night with Sue are rather low, so I can always finish once I'm done with her. I suppose it won't hurt to spend some time with her." He texts back, I'm on my way. Anthony leaves his car and is knocking at Sue's door within minutes.

As Devika and him part ways, John says with a laugh, "Ok then, it's a date!" He makes his way to his rooftop hiding place and relaxes in the folding chair while the radio plays old-school rock and roll.

Katherine, I hate to do this, but I have to go to sleep. Starting in about nine hours, I need to work for 13 hours, so I need to rest up. Feel free to control Ben for the rest of the RP night.
