Mimic grins, "Think again." Suddenly, the blood on Mimic's arm freezes. He slaps the arm against his leg, sending a shower of frozen blood to the ground. Mimic freezes the streams of blood midair, catches them before they fall, and throws them at Gabriel.

Anthony sighs and stands, "You're never going to get over this if you don't open up. If you don't want to talk to me, then at least find someone else to talk to." He walks slowly back to the classroom and asks, "Anyone else want to try?"

Mimic laughs, "What's wrong boy, you scared to bleed?"

Anthony gently turns Kijani's chin so she's looking at him, and asks, "This isn't about the teacher, is it? What have you gone through?" He gives her a reassuring smile and continues, "Come on, you can talk to me."

Mimic cries out in pain, "You son of a bi-" "Pull it together Rankin, you've felt worse." He stands straight and backs up slowly, then asks, "Can you fire it as a projectile, or do you have to slap someone to be effective?"

Mimic laughs, "Look at the roster? I'm not the principle, I like surprises every now and then. It keeps things live-" He stops mid-sentence and leaps at Gabriel, trying to grab the student by the shirt.

Anthony frowns, "Are you hurt?" He gently touches where Kijani's hand is, feeling for a wound. Once he's satisfied that she's not bleeding and nothing is broken, he withdraws his hand. "You looked really scared back there, did you really think he was going to seriously injure you?"

Anthony runs by the staircase, then doubles back once he realizes that he had passed Kijani. He sits down close to her and asks, "Hey. What happened back there?"

Mimic follows Gabriel, then asks, "So. Just what are you?"

Mimic walks into the classroom, scratching his head as he asks, "Are any of you her friend? I'd go after her, but I doubt it'd do any good."

Anthony stands, takes one look at the teacher and growls, "You disgust me." He jogs out of the classroom, looking for Kijani.

Mimic looks for a willing participant and spots Gabriel. With a sigh, he points to Gabriel and says, "Come on then, we've no time to waste."
