McCoy looks down at her and smiles, "Ah yes, I remember reading your file. Please follow me" He leads her into his office and shows her a glass jar that's on his desk. Inside, is a small yellow creature swimming in some water. "Trust me." Before Nacelle can do anything, McCoy picks up the creature and holds it to her ear, allowing it to squirm inside her ear canal. "This is called a babel fish. It feeds off of unnecessary brain waves, but has the side effect of allowing you to understand any language you here. You're welcome. Now let's get back to the others." He leads Nacelle back out and asks, "Any other questions?"
Shortly after the last of the students had straggled into the gym, Professor McCoy strides in and waits for everyone's attention. Once he has it, he says, "We're not doing anything special today, just basic fitness tests. You'll be doing a timed mile and a half run, you'll also do as many pulls ups, crunches, and push ups as you can."
John wraps one arm around her and gives a quick squeeze and says, "Good job! Maybe one day you'll be able to beat me in a weight lifting contest." He walks slightly in front of her, and opens the door to the gym while saying, "It's been a while since I've seen you in the fitness center. I guess we've just been going at different times."
John nods in agreement as he watches Nacelle and David talk, "You're probably right." Turning his attention back to Devika, he asks, "Want to head over to gym? It's going to start soon."
