Bane steps forward and says to John, "The nurse was too busy to join us today, so you'll be our healer. I've spoken to Professor Xavier, and he has given you your powers back for one day. Please get to work."
John's usual cocky smirk falters as he realizes that's he'll need to heal about 20 students, but it soon returns. "Thanks, teach." A moment later, he is powered up and sitting on Bane's desk, his white skin writhing and tendrils flaring. He watches Griffin and Nacelle then, without a word, impaled both of them with a tentacle, healing them immediately. He takes quick, sharp breathes as he feels the pain they went through, then regains his composure. "Maybe I should demonstrate on you?" He says to Bane. After Bane stands up and nods in consent, John powers down and walks toward his teacher. He jumps at Bane, feet first. One foot finds a place at the base of Bane's neck, while the other lands behind Bane's shoulder. John pushes with his left leg, causing Bane to begin to fall backward, while John's right leg twists in the opposite direction, shattering Bane's arm before either of them hit the floor. John stands, heals Bane, then once again sits on the teacher's desk.
