He walks the line, since he mostly targets villains and criminals but will kill heroes if they get in his way. No doubt he'll be tearing the place apart and go too far with things though, so plenty of the heroes will be able to fight him.
Is my character accepted, by the way?
Considering White Lanterns can only actually be "made" during the Blackest Night, yeah....

I think at least, I've yet to read the whole series of Blackest Night, but from the wiki they're basically that "one special team" that can basically stop the apocalypse of an entity of death itself.
Name: Karsten Hehl

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Race: Human

Title: N/A

Magic:
1) Offensive Arcana- Karsten has been trained to use his magic in a more attack oriented manner. By tapping into his magic, he can produce orbs, streams, or bursts of arcane energy which bear either a concussive, piercing, or "electrifying" force. These allow him to inflict heavy physical damage on a target, and can be used to knock several enemies away from him in a pinch. In addition, Karsten can manipulate his arcane energy to create basic constructs (i.e a blade) and surround a target, allowing him to pick it up.

2) Runic- Karsten can use this aspect of his magic to empower his arcane attacks and confer to them a variety of effects (so long as the runes are active on his being at the time) such as burn, freeze, or deteriorate. He can also place these runes on other targets to empower or hinder them (in the case of actual beings) or create traps when placed upon surfaces. Runic magic has far more uses in the way of rituals, but this aspect of it has been mostly unexplored by Karsten.

Bio: Will be developed more during RP. However, Karsten comes from a rather wealthy home.

Appearance: Karsten is reasonably handsome, having a medium brown skin tone and black, medium length hair. He is tall and well built as well, and typically wears clothing befitting of "luxurors". He wears a coat which reaches down just above his knees. It is dark blue in color and decorated with streaks of golden, and is actually his favorite coat. The shirt he wears is a deep crimson, and his pants are usually a dark "earthy" brown color. Oh, and he wears black boots which rise to the middle of his calves.

Required: Tottato...? Is this a cross between a tomato and a potato?
Ah, here it is finally. It took me a while to type up. I hope everything is to your liking.
Name: Scorn (original name Lars Zornlich)

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance: Most of Scorn's body is completely covered by the red and black uniforms of the Red Lanterns, save for his head. It wpuld appear that his skin tone is light brown in color, and his black hair is medium length and curly to the point where it would seem that there are hundreds of tiny snakes frozen in place. His eyes burn completely crimson, and while his visage would suggest he was quite comely as a normal human, it has now been altered by both the ring and his own desire to have a rage filled expression and razor sharp teeth. Scorn is tall and well built, and his muscle mass seems to have slightly increased after his Corp initiation. His hands now end in sharp, seemingly metallic claws, as do his feet, and both his shoulders and his knees have a sharp, protruding, curved bone.

Power(s): What better way to present them than giving you a link?
http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Red_Power_Ring

Personality: As if his appearance, name, and Power Ring didn't give it away already, Scorn is a rage and hate filled individual. He is very proud of his power and will not hesitate to crush anyone who opposes him. As a Red Lantern, Scorn has a very brutal and chaotic sense of justice, believing that the best justice is brought about by vengeance and utter destruction of those who are guilty according to Corp standards. Although he either works alone or with a few other Red Lanterns, Scorn will work along with others if he sees no other solution to a situation, and if he feels that the cause is worthy enough of attention.

Backstory: Scorn's past is one of intense anger and hate, both for others and himself, mainly because the events that transpired to his personal loss were things that probably could have been easily avoided had he taken proper precautions. Lars was one day sent by his parents to pick up a couple of groceries and work supplies from a store. Since the house was relatively close by to the store, he neglected to lock the door to the house and left to carry out his errand. Unbeknownst to him though, there was a small group of criminals around who had been prowling around his house for an opportunity to ransack it (it was a rather solitary yet fancy house).Lars had expected to be back in at most fifteen minutes, but that day there had been an accident on the road and traffic had built up quite a bit. The trip to and back from the store ended up taking him close to an hour, and when he returned home... the sight was not pretty. The front door had been left wide open, and the house was a mess on the inside. Things were broken and scattered everywhere, and anything of value had been taken. But the center of this crime was what remained of his family, battered, bloodied, and dead. His dad and brother had seemed to put up a fight, everyone was ultimately overtaken.Rage and grief filled his heart. All of this then coincided with the appearance of another Red Ring on earth, seeking a new being to recruit. Lars was just in the middle of crying out in rage when he heard the recruiting words of the Red Ring: "Lars Zornlich, you have great rage in your heart".From then on... things got messy for a lot of people and cities on earth, until eventually Lars traveled to the planet of Ysmault, sanctuary of the Red Lanterns. From then on he has scoured the galaxy along with his fellow Lanterns in search of injustices to punish, destroying countless lives and cities in the process.

Story time!:

A shuddering roar was heard as the Red Lantern, Scorn, burst through the walls of the supervillain's hideout, which so happened to be directly beneath the most popular night club of the city. "Tenebrus", as the villain called himself, was basically an egocentric asshole who took more pleasure in bombing buildings and torturing people with his mysterious shadow powers more than he did in the whores of his club.

"TENEBRUS!" Scorn shouted, vile, red, energized liquid spilling from his mouth. Tenebrus laughed.

"Scorn my old friend! Long time no see. I see you made short work of the dense concrete covering my hide-"

A blast of red energy struck Tenebrus square in his black leather covered chest, leaving quite a nasty burn behind.

"I'm not here to waste time engaging in formalities. The blood of those you've killed cries out for vengeance!"

Tenebrus gritted his teeth in anger as he stood up, amassing shadowy power in both his hands.

"Stupid rage monster... what makes you better than me? You yourself have claimed you've destroyed entire cities!"

Tenebrus slashed at Scorn with shadow whips, only to have them blocked by a red shield. Scorn dashed forward and grabbed Tenebrus by the neck.

"My rage is spilled upon the guilty and heinous."

Scorn let out a surge of more napalmic blood, except this time it was spewed all over Tenebrus's sorry little face. Scorn tossed his opponent aside, watching with satisfaction as the top half of the body sizzled with the rage blood.
Ah snap, just checked the first IC post. Never mind then, although if it does become possible to apply please let me know.
Hoy, I remember checking in the interest check and saying I was interested in joining. Would I still be able to work my way into the action?
(Kami's power more or less have the same potential of OPness considering Kami could easily just draw upon the electricity of the area and electrify the entire place. Same goes for drawing upon the electricity from the atmosphere.
When the locusts feed on the energy of the plant, it isn't used to empower them. It's simply spat back out as the corrupted energy that would be harmful to Kami. It doesn't mean it would affect him that instant, only if he absorbed it. I never said they could not be killed by physical attacks, I merely said they were hard to kill. Them destroying the universe also seems to be a bit of a stretch considering they are at most a large area "attack", like you mentioned and I admit they are. On this note though, I do believe that I mentioned there were some parts of the plant where the energy was left uncorrupted. It's fair for you so that Kami won't be left completely vulnerable, but also fair for me and basically everyone else around for the same reason.
At this point from all that you've mentioned about the extent of Kami's current power and his power once it grows, he too does seem to be a character that can have freeform power. He seems on the verge of controlling and manipulating basically everything related to electricity/electrons.
If you're talking about my character running the risk of being OP because of freeform abilities, powerful attacks that cover large areas, and being weak to virtually nothing, I honestly do feel that Kami runs with the same risk as well, and a large part of why all of what I'm doing seems so powerful is because I'm evening out the playing field between my character and yours, as well as for everyone else's.
I don't want to state as fact that you'd do all these things, but the fact that you could is enough reason for me to do the same.)
*If*
(Look who's talking, Mr. I Control Everything with the Slightest Amount of Electricity)

Abaddon growled, but extended a long tendril to the nearest ledge that prevented him from falling through the hole. He looked up at Kami, noticing he was not advancing. He thought as to how the meta could have detected Abaddon's opening of the portal when he realized he was probably detecting the vast abnormalities that came with the opening of each one.

Sensing the corruptive magic coursing throughout the nuclear reactor, Abaddon managed to read that it was indeed deteriorating the energy meant to provide Kami strength. Abaddon too waited for his opponent to make a move.
