Yeah...

I've never really done a drama RP (that doesn't involve supernatural powers, adventure, and fighting at least) and I am ths type of person that finds romance stories a bit too sappy...

Still, somehow you piqued my interest xD.
...

I am very tempted to join....

Goddammit, you got me interested....

*Back in Sheol...*

"Everything went according to plan," Abaddon mused as he created a purple and crimson vortex in front of himself. He began to make a swirling motion with his hand, in turn causing the dark energy to swirl even faster. As he did this, several demons flew overhead, each one tossing a frightened prisoner into Abaddon's vortex. They all screamed in agony as they were churned within the burning power of magic, and though they were burning, they weren't exactly consumed by the energy as would normally happen with just about anything that came into contact with it.

"Filth," Abaddon growled. "It's ironic how you all cry out for mercy, because that is the very thing your victims cried out for when you committed your atrocities against them."

<Murder, rape, torture,> hissed the symbiote.

"And the sad thing is... there are many more like you lot who continue to do such crimes even though they know there are beings stronger than they who could easily obliterate them..."

Abaddon was now mainly talking to himself now, keeping the vortex active as he observed the dozens of other tortures being carried out in his twisted realm.

"Perhaps the reason your kind still persists is because the punishment which comes to them is not nearly as harsh as it should be. The prisons of the world still treat you 'ethically', and the heroes are all but unwilling to strike you down where you stand."

The power of the dark magic intensified until it eventually did consume the bodies that were being churned within it.

"All that will be gone soon, however. We'll bring about true punishment and destruction for everyone, and then from the gore and ashes we'll reconstruct a new society..."
Awesome, now that makes two counting the guy from the first IC.

Anyone have any ideas for a plot?
As promised, the interest check has been moved to the Free section. Visit this thread instead:

I've been wanting to participate in an RP of this series ever since I went through my first playthrough of SMT IV. I haven't found any RPs for it so far though, so I decided to put this up to see if anyone would be interested. I also am looking for a storyline for the RP if it ever does get underway, so here's a good place to toss around ideas.
The "gameplay" will revolve around demon summoning instead of Persona summoning, so people will be able to recruit or "invoke" demons. "Invoking" is basically the same thing as fusion, but instead of fusing demons together to create a new one it will be more of sacrificing demons whose life force can draw forth a particular demon. That makes more sense to me.
I'd like for the RP to start in "media res" (in the middles of things), that way there can be an issue that needs solving underway immediately so we can all just jump into action, interaction, etc. Also, this would allow people to start out with whatever demons they choose so long as it's not something like the Ancient of Days, Four Archangels, or "Devils" (Lucifer and Satan). Makes it more fun that way, because I dislike the whole "start lowly but grow stronger" thing.

Also, quite honestly, I'm new to the series since SMT IV is my first SMT game. A GMing partner to run things would be nice to have, so long as they have pretty good knowledge of the series and whatnot Anyway, here's the suggestion. I'll see if this garners some good interest.
Great! We need a few more interested people though... I'll be recreating this interest check in the Free Section board for more attention, as this area does seem pretty inactive a lot of the time.
Karsten glanced at the waitress and then back to the Elkrit lady. A glass of cider didn't sound too bad, he always did like to have a drink or two while talking with other people. However, he'd be paying for himself, and he explained this to the girl before ordering a glass of cider of his own

"Let's not be indebted to others," he told himself in his mind. Though he was not an overly haughty luxuror, Karsten preferred to not bring himself to receive material aid from those of a seemingly lower class than himself.

"Now then," he spoke up with a small smile, "I believe we've yet to introduce ourselves. My name is Karsten, and you are...?"
The luxuror extended his hand to her in a formal greeting.
Virgil cracked his knuckles as he headed for the ships exit. The gesture wasn't really a tough guy type gesture, more of just a habit he had gotten into which helped him relieve tension and relax his hands. He was confident the mission would go well, and stood by the exit waiting for his other allies to arrive.
