(Shoot, I know how it feels to be ignored in an RP...)

Gabriel noticed a girl begin to leave. Judging by the way a lot of people were gathered here and beginning to settle themselves, he figured that the instructors would arrive here soon.
"Best not to leave the area," he told her. "At least fiddle around with your phone up in here."

Why let someone go through the trouble of getting chewed out on their first day of school?
Is this still open? If so, would something like a Red Lantern be acceptable?
"Interesting," Gabriel said in response to Kit. "I am curious though as to how your powers came about though. The healing I get, not the telekinesis. Least from what I remember, Storm could control the weather."

He shrugged before continuing.

"Guess mutant genes swap around a lot to produce different traits and abilities. That isn't surprising at all then."

Gabriel then looked at the person who had asked who he was.

"Gabriel. As for my powers, they've got to do with my blood. Literally. Not sure about that of others though, at least not yet..."
I think an updated list of accepted characters and stuff would be nice to have, I've no idea who anyone is aside from the ones listed on the front page!

"Wait? Your dad is Wolverine and your name is Kit? Is that suppose to be a pun cause it is a damn funny one." Jack said laughing. "A young wolverine is called a kit."

MIND = BLOWN
"Telekinesis? Who was your mother then?"
Gabriel had felt inclined to ask this once he had heard "Kit" was the son of Wolverine.
Gabriel had ben watching the short lived confrontation play out. If he had been in either of those guys' places, things might have gotten ugly quite quickly, especially if he felt that he was being challenged or insulted. Though he was waiting for a punch (or web ball) to be thrown, Gabriel shrugged and gave a slight nod when things simmered down. Being able to settle stupid, trivial things like what happened without brute force was admirable on its own.
Gabriel then managed to overhear the names of one of the kids down below him. "Parker", the name of the famous hero Spiderman, was familiar to almost everyone. It would be interesting to see how one of his children would adapt to their new status as a superhuman.
Gabriel thought of messing with that single drop of blood even further. He did a slight upwards motion with his index finger, causing the now mixed with melted metal drop to rise up from the hole it had been burning into the ground below.

"I wonder if there's an extent to my manipulation. Can I do the same with the blood of others that I can do with my own?"

Gabriel thought of the possibilities with this. They were gruesome, but... enjoyable to play out nonetheless. The drop of blood remained suspended in the air as Gabriel messed with its shape.
Gabriel sat with one leg crossed over the other. He leaned back to relax against the wall, and soon lefted up hisleft arm to gaze at the veins on his wrists. They looked just like any other, but Gabriel knew that there was more to his blood. He smirked slightly as he thought about what had happened to his stepdad, what he had done to him really. Nearly all of that bastard's face was burned off, it almost looked like a scene from Alien were one of the things had just been shot and spewed their green, acid blood all over their attacker.

Growing bored, Gabriel looked around and extended one finger towards the empty space below the bleachers. A single drop of blood fell, and as soon as it touched the metal, it sizzled, melted through the metal, and continued doing the same to anything else beneath it. It was unimpressive to Gabriel considering the bleachers weren't by any means some sort of special or even strong metal, but Gabriel was confident that he would soon get to the point where he could burn through even the strongest of metals.
Gabriel walked around hurriedly as he looked for the Gym.

"Wonderful, first day here and I'm already going to be late to one of my first classes."

What was even more stressful about this is that he had actually gotten here quite early, but instead of actually going by to wait by his class, Gabriel had decided to wander around the campus to get a general feel for the area (and to have a better idea of where he should go for his classes, that way he didn't have to ask where they were so many times). That was a rather big mistake, because the campus was actually rather large and easy to get lost in for newcomers.

Gabriel clenched his schedule in hand, but quickly loosened his grip when he realized what was about to happen. He didn't want this thing burning up, and he certainly didn't want people thinking he had cut himself or something.... actually wait, that might have been a good thing. It would keep people away from him and spare him the trouble pf introducing himself and dealing with general first day of school interactions. The teen looked around and saw that a number of students were moving as a group to a certain area.

"Well there was that announcement calling for people to go to the Gym anyway... why didn't I think of following them before?"

Several minutes later, Gabriel had finally arrived at the gym. It was large enough to keep from being crowded despite the sizeable amount of people there. In every corner there seemed to be some manner of noise and activity. The noise he didn't mind, but the activity....

"Why can't some people just sit down and not act like elementary school children high on sugar?"

Shoving his hands in his pockets, Gabriel made his way to a spot on the bleachers that was mostly away from other people, but still close enough to them.
