Alright, thanks a lot.
Could someone give me a recap of what's happened so far? It'd be a great help to actually making a meaningful post.
Michael finished locking up the last remaining shelves of medicine before he sat down on a chair to continue waiting for the store's actual pharmacist to return. How long had it been already? An hour? The man had left to supposedly go on a bathroom break, but typically those didn't take THIS long. Maybe he had Taco Bell for lunch or something, Michael thought with a small chuckle. Or... maybe he got sick. It was kind of an ironic thought, a pharmacist getting sick, but Michael had recalled that much of the medicine that had arrived here at the mall's pharmacy was all geared for treating similar symptoms. Nausea, vomiting, pain, dizzy spells.... perhaps there was some bug going around, and his overseer had caught it.

"The least he could have done was call in to say he wouldn't be coming back!"

Michael locked the "Employee's Only" room before heading out and closing the shutter of the pharmacy's front behind him. Bad mistake. As soon as he began to walk further away from the place, he spotted a small group of moaning and shambling people. Their clothes were torn and stained with filth and blood.

"What? Is this like a publicity stunt or something?" Michael asked. He had sometimes seen such things being done on the news as pranks, scheduled events, or publicity stunts, so that was the first thing that came to mind. There was some new zombie game coming out weeks from now, so this would be a sure fire way to grab attention.

That's when the stench hit him. It was like the smell of some dead animal, except ten times worse.

"Kind of overdoi-"

One of the shamblers turned around, revealing a bleeding jugular and flesh being chewed in its mouth.

"Hahaha... nope."

With that, Michael ran around them and sprinted full speed away. That shit was way too real to be a mere publicity stunt, and it hadn't taken Michael very long to realize that small group of "zombies" were actually zombies. He looked ahead of himself, noticing even more groups on the floor down below, some feasting on the bodies of people.

"Shit... where the fuck is Daryl Dixon when you need him?"

Michael quickly scanned the area for open stores that were zombie free when he spotted a girl running frantically. Was that Izzy? Michael had seen her a few times whenever he had gone into Hot Topic to browse. In fact, she was the one that sold him his pretty cool coat. He ran to try and catch up to her.

"Hey! Slow down a bit!"
Karsten listened as Asterij told him a bit about her past and her skills. She could handle herself at least, so that was great to hear. Her pocket dimension abilities were also something that could come into great use as it would lighten both of their loads significantly. Still, something bugged him. She mentioned that the people of her village were people she didn't want to be around, much less raise children around. Just how bad were they?

"The people of your village... what are they like?"
"Yeah, I've actually got them right here," replied Luke as he handed the glasses to Emma. "Didn't know glasses could bounce that far, but be thankful they didn't bounce backwards into the water!"

Luke then began to gather Emma's bags in front of her so they wouldn't be so spread out along the dock. He considered offering his help, but he did still have his own bags to tend to first... maybe he could help her with only a few of them...

"Need some help with some of these?" He said anyway.
I don't know how to jump in to all of this, unless you'd be willing to do something like Abaddon stringing this group up as part of the plan to protect hope. They wouldn't be what I had in mind though, so maybe we can work something out.
Karsten smiled a bit at Asterin's demeanor, reclining back a bit himself as he fished out some coins from his pocket and handing it to the waitress.

"Keep the rest," he said, obviously giving her a generous tip. Karsten often would do this whenever he went out and was waited upon by others, simply as a sign of appreciation and as an attempt to help them out a bit with their pay.

"So..." he started turning back to Asterin, "For your question.... I've been practicing my magic and sword fighting techniques for quite a while now. Contrary to popular belief, not all luxuror families allow their children to be spoiled and lazy."

Karsten began to form a small magic sphere in his palm that he then launched at an empty mug on the table. It knocked it off, but before it could hit anything the magic warped itself around it at Karsten's command, basically holding it in place midair. He then brought it back to the table.

"Now just picture that, but on a larger and more powerful scale. That's just a mere display of what I can do, and my magic goes deeper than just this."

Karsten looked at Asterin once more, noting her deep violet eyes as he made eye contact.

"So you tell me why you're confident on taking this journey on."
Alright, school has been a bitch but I am back for now. What have I missed?
I fixed up my post, I see where the confusion came from now that I reread it.
Ok, Luke criticized Chiyoye in the post, but helped Emma.
