"Oh, that's fine," Raphael said. It was actually a bit comforting knowing he wasn't the only new person at this place. On his way here he had already seen several people together in couples or in groups, giving him the impression that mostly everyone had been here for quite awhile now. He felt it was long overdue he started feeling fit in someplace... the last place he had left from had been all but approving of his abilities and mindset....
Raphael looked at Lori again. She seemed wary.... maybe she had gone through something similar? He gave her a friendly smile to try and ease up whatever tension she might have had.
"Guess we can be new together. Want to check out the rest of the place with me? It's what I was planning to do anyway. "

"So... guess you could say I'm new here," Raphael laughed slightly. "Do you know much about this place and what goes on here, or are you new yourself?"
He kept sensing eyes on him, that same dark presence the black haired girl had. No doubt she was watching him closely. Perhaps she could sense his connection to darkness as well? Was this a threat to her or something?

Was that a threat of some kind, or simply a mere attempt to act prideful? Either way, Raphael would be having none of it, so should this black haired girl intend to start something.... he'd probably be expecting it.
"No need for that," he said calmly. He looked to the blonde that had greeted him before walking over. Might as well start a conversation and get a general idea of what the place was like.

Raphael took notice of a blonde girl who had given him a smile. He smiled back and gave a nod of greeting, but otherwise didn't do anything else since he typically didn't engage people immediately until he got an idea of what they were like. Still... she was rather pretty and didn't look all too bad...

Raphael looked at the large high school before him. It looked just like any well funded school, but he knew such wasn't the case. This school apparently hosted others like him, people with strange and wondrous abilities that could probably make short work of... anything that stood in the way.

I'll be dropping this RP. It's become rather dull for me, so posting here is more of a chore than a pleasure which is what I and anyone looks for when participating in an RP.

Raphael has the power to produce the avatar of a wicked and powerful demon. The avatar can mimic his movements, dealing devastating attacks and felling groups of enemies in single swoops. Raphael becomes heavily resistant to physical attacks, but while still resistant against magic, these are still able to do a number on him, especially light magic spells. The final and most powerful degree of this power is Raphael's ability to literally become the demon.
Aside from the full avatar of the demon, Raphael can choose to merely spawn one of its features, such as wings or claws.
Due to his obvious affinity with the dark supernatural, Raphael has access to other dark magic powers. These can range from casting blasts of corruptive energy, creating tormenting curses, to summoning and subjugating spirits and other entities.
