For a short moment, Raphael looked at Blithe another way. Again he felt sorry for her and what she had to go through. She didn't look like it, but going off of his own experience, Raphael figured that maybe she was still sorrowful for having been cast out from her society. That strange mixture of hatred and melancholy towards those you once called family had its way of taking its toll on you, Raphael wondered if she went through the same periods of sadness he did.

She was actually rather pretty too, although this definitely had nothing to do with the way he was beginning to lose his spite of her. Nope, not at all. The demon within him laughed, mocking his insecurity.

"I've got something to handle," Raphael finally said. The demon avatar appeared again as it slashed the air before Raphael. A rift was created, and soon, they were both gone. Gone to the Dark Realms. Blithe probably could have followed if she was quick enough to pick up the trail of vanishing energy.
"Raphael Castellon," spoke a rumbling voice. "The human of holy warriors who chose the darkness, who was granted control over dark powers by God Himself. We are bound by His orders and your proof of might not to harm thee. What brings you to the Infernal Library?"

"Knowledge," Raphael responds.

"Knowledge? Why, God has already granted you much of the forbidden knowledge of darkness hidden from your kind. What more could you want?"
Michael and Izzy made it to the clothing store. Michael thinks Jen is cute, as does Izzy. Michael and Izzy then went to go and fight some zombies which were coming in through an open entrance. They also help a new girl, Elie.

A giant toaster soon feel from the sky, signalling the approach of world conquering Pop Tarts aliens.
Raphael nodded. He knew where she was coming from, feeling all the pain and resentment towards her family, her own kind. He had had a similar experience with his own family too. They were Templars, Holy Warriors that had pledged themselves to spread healing, and light to drive away the dark forces of the world. As much as Raphael had admired them and followed their tenets and ways, he grew weary of them....

He wanted to make the darkness his own. Not to harm others, but to "fight fire with fire". He had begged God Himself for control over dark powers, so much until He finally answered. He would grant Raphael his wishes, but warned him about the consequences. His family would cast him out, hate him, and even hunt him. He would be more prone to falling into wickedness, and the other dark entities of the supernatural world would eventually wish to test themselves against him. All of it had come to pass, but Raphael beared it through. He had made his choice, but its pros somehow managed to shine better than the cons. It still hurt though, but... he'd grown used to itm

"I won't," he told her, looking into her eyes with promise.
Perhaps he would. Raphael was strong, but he might actually need some help in dealing with the backup Noctis would possibly bring. They would be nothing more than fodder, but would be an unnecessary waste of time and energy for Raphael.

He nodded and smiled at the Reaper girl.

"I'd be glad tp have your help," he said. He had business to attend to first. The Dark Realms. It held knowledge he might need...
Raphael nodded. That helped, at least a little. Still, Raphael felt the need to venture to the Dark Realms to obtain more knowledge about the dark powers he was capable of wielding. One thing lingered on his mind though. Blithe had called Noctis her sister. Would she hold resentment against him if he killed her then?
Raphael raised an eyebrow at the pendant, the demon telling him of a mysterious presence from within. Otherwise though, he simply waved it off, not truly interested in it. He did have a question for Blithe though.

"Right. So, have any tips for me then? You seem to know much more about Noctis and her ways."

It slightly hurt Raphael's pride to ask this. He could just fight her again, but it was better to go in prepared next time. If Blithe did refuse to say anything, then he'd have to venture to a... "special" place.
BlitheCrescent said
Blithe finally gets back to Raphael, and notices that Noctis is gone. "What happened?"

"The 'great and powerful' Reaper fled," Raphael responded, obvious sarcasm and mockery dripping from the words he used to describe Noctis.

"What about you? Find something?"
The demon returns to Raphael's being, looking around along with him for the Reaper. She was gone, cleverly escaping the heavy winds and hellish lightning Raphael had caused through his avatar.

"Shame, I was hoping to taste Reaper flesh again..."

Such an outcome didn't exactly bode well for Raphael. If she had retreated, it meant he was too much for her to handle alone. The next time they met, she would probably have backup. At the very least, she would have undergone more training and maybe even rituals of magic to obtain more power and skill. He'd have to be ready for the next time they'd meet...
The demon growled along with Raphael. This Reaper was getting to be a nuisance, and Raphael was going to have none of it. Thankfully though, she had put herself in a rather dangerous position. He pointed to the sky, and immediately the demon flies from his body, grinning.

"Stir the winds, bring the lightning!"

In ethereal form, the demon began to circle the air above and around Noctis, inspiring the winds to pick up and skies to darken. The wind became a battering force, and soon the demon stopped itself to allow the winds to continue their course. It raised its arms and released a dark beam into the sky. For a few seconds, it flashed red, and soon hellish bolts of lightning came crashing down upon Raphael's enemy from all direction.

"Tornado like winds and lightning.... good luck with that."
As always, Izzy didn't fail to impress Michael with her sword play. Stabbing and slashing zombies left and right, she along with Michael seemed to be starring in the set of some new Blade movie, except instead of dishing out some fancy moves against vampires, it was zombies. This was getting to be fun. Really fun. So fun in fact Michael had to let out a laugh as he stabbed one final zombie through the temple.

"HAHAHA! FUCK YEAH MOTHERFUCKERS!"

He finally came to his senses, settling himself down.

"Right uh... we should probably get back to where we were..."
