The Dragon Rebellion

As Merus figured, there were a lot more plants that needed tending than Klostrun had let on. Looks like the cruel inquisitor was going to be hopping through the meadows for a bit. Oh well, he didn't have anything better to do, and he doubted that the Acolyte Stalkers had returned with their defected targets. Might as well pass the time with this.

Merus walked over to the first group of Winter flowers. They were looking rather wilted due to the rising warmth of the season. Placing his hand above them, Merus created an aura of cold that could be felt a few feet away, quickly chilling the ground the flowers were planted in and creating a small layer of frost upon them.

Merus nodded and followed after Klostrun, a bit disappointed he couldn't linger around a bit more to try and make out more of the conversation he had just heard moments. He followed all the way to the garden.

"First stop?" He asked. "I thought you said this was the only place that needed tending. Anywhere else after this?"

"Grr... why did I have a feeling," Raphael grunted. He figured that the Reaper would make herself known again at one point or another, just not this soon. She also apparently had a brother. Great, just great. When he got out... if he got out... he was going to find them, drag them into the forbidden realms, and rip them limb from limb.

Radiation definitely wasn't a good thing. Now, why the hell a school would have a radioactive freezer was beyond Raphael. What, did they have mutant monsters underneath the school grounds?

Probably. Maybe even with a side of evil ancient overlord sealed deeper below.

Raphael manifested his demon avatar. It's presence would mostly protect him from the radiation, but if he didn't get out soon he'd be baked anyway.

Merus heard voices coming from elsewhere, and his eyes slowly shifted in the general direction where they were coming from. They were faint and really not all that audible, but he did make out the simple words "hurt" and "Nacine". Interesting things were certainly making themselves known today. Merus wondered who it was that was speaking.

Anime High School

It soon became obvious that the large place he had appeared in was actually a room. A sealed room at that. It seemed pretty old and rusty, indicating it probably hadn't been messed with in a long while. It was also rather cold, and emanated a weird.... energy. It wasn't spiritual energy though...

"Right.... I don't suppose this place has an intercom or something, right?" He questioned, no one in particular.

"Raphael.... contrary to what you might think I wasn't the one who dropped us here," growled the demon. "It seems our way of travel was altered... and made us come here..."

Merus would probably have gone and confronted Rex about his sketchy behavior, but was stopped from doing so by a voice demanding his attention. Klostrun, Merus recognized that voice anywhere. He and the Earth mage weren't exactly the best of friends, but regardless Merus was often willing to help him out with his... gardening. It was quite obvious where there dissent came from. Klostrun was someone who preferred peace rather than battle, and Merus's nature was a complete contradiction to what he stood for.

"Ah, Klostrun. Seeking my help with those plants again huh? Fine, lead me to them."

Merus's suspicion is really just that at this point, suspicion. He might be able to deduce Rex and Nacine later on, but only if they give hints away. I hope I'm not noobish enough to just make a character know something automatically, so don't worry about that.

Merus was walking through the halls when he noticed a familiar face exit a room and quickly head towards another. He stopped and glanced over at the doorway Rex had just come from and noted it was Nacine's room. How curious. Merus's face developed a small smirk. He'd always had a feeling those two had something for each other, at least in some way. It would be very amusing indeed if they were found out.

Something tugged at his mind though. Rex's expression was rather somber. Maybe it was just because of an argument, but with what happened a few hours ago with the torture of a few renegades.... Merus wasn't so sure a secret love affair was all that was developing. He couldn't be sure of the alternative though. Those two were loyal to the Dragons, as they had been from birth.... right?

I don't quite know where everyone is at though. I know Nacine and Rex are talking in private but they're.... in private.
