Despite what Christopher originally thought, he actually had been able to doze off. That's usually what happened whenever he just lied in bed while doing nothing. He dreamed very... peculiar dreams. Images of a flooded sewer flashed through his mind. The walls were disgusting, lined with resin that looked like a hive. Large, dragonfly like creatures circled around... him apparently. They landed, and began giving off a strange energy.
The scene shifted, and soon he was flying over a city, heading right towards... Godzilla?!

Christopher snapped awake, eyes darting from place to place.
"What the hell was THAT?!" He asked. The burning sensation hadn't left him, neither had that strange glow of light in his left eye. What had he just dreamed?

"It... hm... it's probably because of whatever new thing they have in the transfusion..."

He still wasn't so sure of the dream. He figured he might have dreamt of Godzilla since he was thinking about him before falling asleep, but why the other things?
"So... what's this things name again?"

"Mega-gui-rus. Say it with me, Mega-gui-rus."

"Alright alright, sheesh. Give me a break when trying to pronounce these things names!"

Two people observed the insect queen from above. She appeared to be sleeping.

"Hey, didn't this thing get its ass fried a few years ago? How do we even have one of these?"

Steven, the other guy, explained. It was true that the original Megaguirus had been fried by Godzilla's atomic breath, but like all insects, it had laid eggs. These eggs hatched, producing a new batch of "meganulon", the nymph stage of what had the potential to grow into Megaguirus. Among the new brood was the one more fit to become the new queen.

"So," said Steven, "Queen gets chosen, drones go to work and repeat the same process to allow the queen meganulon to grow into what you see now."

"Where did they get the energy?"

"Think you idiot! Jesus, Harry.... the meganulon drones sapped the energy out of several nuclear reactors in Tokyo, as well as from more common power sources like electrical stations. Eventually they sucked energy out of Godzilla again."

Megaguirus's wings shifted a bit as her pincers opened and closed.

"You'd think he'd learn to protect himself against the little bastards, though..."

"They were more clever about it this time, is all."

"Oh."

Megaguirus screeched, her eyes glowing red as she awoke fully. She spread her wings and attempted to flap them, only to find restraints prohibiting such movement. She thrashed about.
....

I'm in, I elect Cabin 1 as my lair!
(Great!)

Christopher was bored now, which was rather unfortunate because he hated being bored, especially in this room where there was literally nothing to do but fall asleep and wait for the next visit from the nurse. Unfortunately though, he couldn't fall asleep to wait it out. Since the newest transfusion, Christopher actually felt a bit more active and alert than he had in previous days, and it only seemed to increase ever so slightly as time ticked along.

"Huh... maybe the drug actually has had some improvements. Now, if they can restore, at the very least, both my arms, that'd be fucking wonderful!"

The teen began rambling on to no one in particular, as he usually did whenever he was bored and wanted to think about some things.

"I'd look pretty cool with an eye patch anyway!"

Speaking of his eye... there did seem to be a weird... glow in it now. Was his vision being restored? Or was this just a way for his mind to try and cope with having nothing but darkness in one of his eyes?

"An officer with an eyepatch would definitely intimidate a few scumbags, now wouldn't it?"

Ah, how Christopher enjoyed thinking about the possibilities of becoming a police officer. He would do great, work his way to the top ranks, be the one in charge.

"But no... instead I'm stuck here. Stuck here to be tested on like a damned lab rat! And to talk to myself... well shit, looks like I get to add insanity to the list of what's wrong with me..."

Now what else was there to think about? Hm... the Kaiju? Those monsters had always been object of fascination and terror to everyone in the world, especially the one they called the "King of the Monsters". Godzilla, or Gojira as the Japanese called him. That particular monster was responsible for much destruction, but also for saving the world a few times from other Kaiju or alien threats. The three headed dragon Ghidrah, the cyborg Gigan, Orga... yeah, lots.
There were other Kaiju that pitched in to protect the world every now and then too, like that weird one called King Caesar, and that overgrown armadillo, Anguirus....

"As much destruction as they caused they were all still good for something... who's gonna protect the earth now that all of them have been tossed onto Mars? The military sure as hell can't do jack against other monsters and alien forces, which sometimes even come with monsters of their own..."

Christopher looked at his faint reflection on the glass. His curly black locks of hair could use a trim right now... then he looked to the clock. At least an hour had passed since he started thinking aloud. Wow... nice way to pass the time...
Nah it's cool, I did ask for ideas afterall. I know a lot about the Corps and what's occurred, but am still relatively new to the series.
Hm, well I don't necessarily intend for the RP to be directly tied to what goes on in the actual series, or for this to be a reimagining of what has already happened.
That's more of what I was thinking actually, since I'd rather not jump right into major arcs of the actual series. I didn't really like the portrayal of the Red Lanterns in the series though, as I actually consider them and Atrocitus to be good in a way.

Something similar to the Third Army could also be good.
Larfleeze! How's Okaara?

Anyway, thanks for the interest. Currently I'm brainstorming to see what would be a good plot that everyone can enjoy, but also a plot that would allow people to have the liberty of initiating there own arcs.
As the title says, I'm looking to see if anyone would be interested in participating in an RP dealing with all the Lanterns. There are seven total, but only six will be available to participants as "Orange" consists solely of Larfleeze (I might allow someone to play as him though).
I don't really have a set plotline for this, however, so if anyone can help me with this by pitching in some ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it.

(Krein you may want to reread the starter, it's not a shot it's a bag of blood with the experimental drug in it, which is accidentally replaced with Kaiju blood that is being transfused into the character's bodies.)

Alright, fixed... I hope.
Christopher stared out of the glass covering above his bed, still feeling sleepy and lethargic due to the fact that he had just woken up. The outside looked strange, but this was because of his now useless left eye. That damned virus affected more than just that though, it had also rendered both of his arms useless.
There were others like him here on this wretched station that were infected with the virus too. Interestingly, all of them were young, the age range being from 12-21. People in the prime of their lives were the targets of this disease, though why was not yet known. The sick were brought up here for treatment, but Christopher yelled bullshit at that. At least for him, he was treated more like a lab rat to be kept solely for experiments. It made him angry, moreso than the fact that he was pretty much unable to do... anything without help now. His pride was wounded, and he felt like he was being treated less and less like a human every passing day.

"Watkins! It's time again!"

Christopher's face twisted into a scowl as he heard the voice of his nurse, Truman, speak over the intercom. He hated this guy. Truman was like a robot programmed to make his life more difficult than it was. Other than constantly ordering him around and speaking to him as of he were something inferior than a human, Truman often acted in a way that seemed to enjoy Christopher's pitiful condition.

"Aw... don't be like thay Watkins, you know we're all here to help you," said Truman as he entered Christopher's room, pressed a few buttons on his pod, and caused the glass dome to open.

"Truman, how nice to see you again," Christopher said sarcastically. "Have the great and intelligent doctors made any progress with their work, or are they still delaying to make a profit off us. Oh I'm sorry, delaying to ensure we sick ones get the best of care?"

The nurse scoffed as he pulled out a bag. It looked just like any other transfusion bag they had been using on him and the other sick ones, but this one just seemed a bit... odd.

"Watch your tongue Watkins, be thankful that you actually get to have treatment!"

Truman pulled up one of Christopher's useless arms, pulled out the tube of the old transfusion bag, and then inserted that of the new one into the smaller tubes leading into his bloodstream. The new bag was then hung up on the IV stand. The liquid was administered into his bloodstream... it felt rather strange really, almost immediately Christopher could feel a weird sense of burning in his body, and even a bit of a surge of energy.

"I hope that wasn't some poison meant to 'kill me ethically'," Christopher said. "Feels like the rest of me is burning."

"Unfortunately no. Experimental drug."

"As always. You know Truman, I often imagined myself receiving treatment from some sexy nurse that I could later f*ck as soon as I started getting better. Instead I get you. Am I allowed to ask you to be exchanged with your wife?"
Christopher smiled as Truman's face became contorted with anger. The nurse hit him, but Christopher only laughed. He enjoyed mocking the nurse.
"I'm going to have you on the streets after this," Christopher said as the nurse stormed out.

Christopher settled himself down, still feeling strange. Today was going to be a long day.
