Hey all! New to the site, but not at all new to play-by-post.
Been playing on another site for the past couple of years, but eventually started to get a bit tired of the community, and their tendency to abandon roleplays before they even get off the ground. Looking around at the site here, it seems like there are a lot more in progress games that have a high amount of posts here, so I think I'm going to be giving it a shot. I'll mostly be lurking around the Casual Roleplay thread, I think, as I do already have a small group of friends that I write pretty advanced collaborations with, so this is mostly me looking for something fun and relaxed. Oh! And I should mention that I primarily play fantasy RPs, but occasionally dabble in science fiction or post-apocalyptic as well.
About me personally, I'm currently in my third year of living the university life, studying mostly writing, so I spend an inordinate amount of time tapping away at the keyboard every day. I'm a bit of a gamer, though I mostly restrict myself to single player games, and proudly maintain my status as a filthy casual console peasant. Writing and RPing are easily my biggest ways of spending free time, though, and I hope I can start enjoying some of that here!
