It's fine! Don't worry about it!

Oh gosh, I'm a horrible test taker, not too thrilled about how they turned out.
I usually watched any cartoons that were on, Pokémon, Teen Titans, and of course Fosters.

I recently got into Steven Universe, it's pretty adorable.
She blinked, looking around, having her blindfold shed and realized there were others, who she luckily happened to know. Will and Deyja were across from them and Innocentia was beside her. Being the second oldest in the group, she felt rather protective of the others. Thus shown when Ryle placed a comforting arm around Innocentia, glaring at one of the monsters.

Ryle rolled her eyes at Will’s attempt at throwing out some small talk. Of course he was trying to ease the tension but the monsters sitting in the same box as them concerned her. “Fantastic,” She said with obvious sarcasm, but couldn’t help but smile slightly.

Deyja seemed to react the most negative, and she wished she could comfort him. She gave Will a knowing look, hoping he’d do just that.

"Don't worry, Deyja, it'll be fine." Although Ryle couldn't say much else as she began to wonder where they were being taken and why them of all people. Then it hit her, the situation may have to do with the little device going off.
Embry woke up with a start, the sunshine blaring down on her face harshly. It was going to be one of those lazy days for her. It was already afternoon, she having slept in from staying up until early morning. She had fallen asleep on the couch as it was much cooler than her room. As it was getting closer to summer, her home in Hawaii felt almost unbearable at times despite the air conditioning. Embry rubbed her face, feeling the indention from her computer mouse on her cheek. No wonder she wasn't comfortable. She sat up, touching the track pad of her laptop to ease it back on.

“Glad to see you back with the living,” Embry heard behind her, giving a small jump from the sudden noise. Without bothering to look she knew it was her older sister and guardian, Evelyn.

“Yeah,” Embry huffed, not quite awake yet, and heading towards to kitchen to rummage up something to eat.

Her sister followed, appearing more eager than she usually did. Embry grabbed a muffin, scrutinizing Evelyn as if to figure out what she was up to. It was too early for this.
“Sooo, what do you plan on doing today? I mean it’s your day off from work and all.”

“No idea, I’ll probably do some school work then hang out on the internet all day,” Embry answered, taking her breakfast and heading back towards her computer.

“I was thinking maybe-“ Evelyn was distracted for a moment, a hand instinctively reaching for her lovely golden necklace. She had a habit of touching it whenever it pulsed, a look of joy on her face and she turned around, greeting her wife with a kiss.

Embry looked glanced at them, mimicking her sister's action and touching her own necklace. It was cool to the touch, meaning her own soul mate was far from her. She looked away from her sister and sister-in-law in jealousy, much like she did with others who had found their soul mates at her age.

Her sister was one of the lucky ones. Evelyn’s soul mate happened to be their neighbor so she was able to grow up with her. Now they were married and in their own happily ever after. “Well, then again,” Embry thought, “they do have to deal with me.”

Due to the passing of their parents a few years ago, and being a good ten years older than her sister, Evelyn has taken charge of her sister. Ever since that day, Embry hid in her shell and pushed people out, leaving her friends and now attends an online school.

Evelyn pulled away from her wife, seeing her sister touching her own necklace, that common gloomy look on her face. She gave a knowing look to her soul mate, Rena, and she nodded, knowing Evelyn wanted to talk to her sister, and left the two alone.

"Did I ever tell you Rena's uncle was in the same pickle as you?" Evelyn asked softly, making her way to sit beside her younger sister and hold her in a hug. Embry shook her head, her fingers delicately tracing the indention that is the design of her charm. "Well, he wasn't until his late thirties until he met his soul mate. He was sure he was going to be...alone.”

"They never respond," Embry said softly, her necklace seeming to feel colder than usual. Her sister hugged her fully, wrapping her arms around her. Her sister decided to change the topic, standing up and fixing her too flowery dress.

"How about when I get back from shopping, we'll go for a girl's night out. You haven't been outside in a few days," She laughed lightly, trying to bring up the mood. She was only given a shrug, and Evelyn sighed in defeat,"Alrighty, call if you need anything. Rena and I'll be back in a couple hours." With that, Embry was alone.

She turned back to her computer, speeding through her math lesson to distract herself from her self-pity and general gloominess. She decided to marathon one of her some series she heard of, as well message Talon on an instant message.

“Yo! Pretty sure you’re having a better time than me.”
Sorry about not posting! I've been busy with finals and what not!

I'll post an intro in a moment.
Dragons are cool.

I couldn't think of a pun for the title on the fly so I'll work on my CS instead.
My CS!

Name: Everyl Rift (ehv-ril)

Age: Looks about late teens 17-18. Actually about 800, 000

Gender: Female

Race: Melanthe- Shadow Dragon

Named for their scales, these dragons are known for their shadow-like tendencies. They are formed for speed and stealth, having aerodynamic bodies that are commonly serpentine. Melanthe lurk in the shadows and prefer the night for additional covertness, and have the ability to be almost invisible in the shadows. With their inclinations for shadows, their eyesight is developed for night vision.

Despite their nature for stealth, they have rather ironic bright crests. This is both to attract mates as well a type of warning similar to venomous snakes. However, these dragons are not venomous, but they are able to breathe a sort of eerie vapor that can blind and suffocate. Depending on the potency and level of breath they use, they will either use their breath as an escape mechanism to distract their foe or for the kill. Most of those in this race have wings, and the few that don’t often rely on magic for flight.

Due to their shape, when they first hatch, their legs cannot support their bodies and ten to slither for most of their hatchling life. After a couple decades, they rely more on their legs. Although most are quadruped, they’re also not the most graceful of runners, and sort of maneuver similar to that of a noodle with legs. They also follow the function common to that of everyday reptiles and brumate, or rather hibernate for cycles, and then stay away for an even longer cycle.

Appearance:

(however with a red crest along spine) Stands at a good ten feet, eleven including horns, as is seventy or so feet long, wingspan being fifty feet.

Stands at a modest five six. When summons wings, her wingspan shrinks to a twenty feet.

Powers: Breath a dark vapor that can blind a suffocate, becomes invisible in shadows, as well has control over shadows, such as using the shadows in forms of telekinesis, and even holding things down.

History: Having recently woken up after her hibernation period, Everyl has adapted rather well to the society that is new to her. She doesn’t understand much technology, having slept for a century or so, and speaks without slang and more proper.
A thread for Crawkid and I!
