So does this new magic setting make my character null? This is what i have to say about my character at least.......His level of strength and endurance or w.e is negotiable. A character who has to struggle with an inner demon, that can physically manifest itself as A secondary form. With the cost of this secondary form being monstrous and proves to be excruciatingly hard or impossible to control.

Agreed with starting at the beginning level.

Although with Edolas, magic is limited in the weapons. If we do go with that route, would the weapons need to recharge or be similar to the show and you'd need to get a new weapon? Or just simply have the magic come from the person and expressed through the weapon?

Magic can also be used as mostly a tool, like for day to day life, much like the show.

Agreed to magic not being the main source of ability for combat, as there were already plenty of characters who were archers or other forms of combat. With magic, there should only be a few as to be more balanced.

Another way we can handle magic could be such as that of Edolas in Fairy Tail where magic isn't in the people but rather weapons and other tools.

There are guilds, quests, but what about magic? Is it going to be in everyday life?
