Metalheart

Writing up my cs. it would be radical if you could post a list of jobs in this society and the sort of hierarchy that goes with that, since it seems to me that if the metalhearts are the most despised, other jobs are probably pretty disliked as well.
Unless we're just gonna figure it out as we go, in which case everything is awesome :D

Experimental Army

Ivy found her chair across from the other two who had already sat down. She was careful not to look them in the eyes - something she learned in prison - but she did get a decent look at them as she was walking over. She was immediately glad that she wasn't the only girl, but to Ivy, Neva didn't look like the kind of person who would be here. The boys all more or less looked like she would have expected, given the kind of people that were being brought into this.
She sat down quietly and kept her eyes down, careful not to seem either too threatening or too weak to her new peers, as it were. She hoped not to make any enemies just yet.

Real name: Ivy Calloway
Code name: Leech (which she hates)
Age: 16
Skills: Ivy is a great problem solver, being very level-headed and logical. She has no formal weapons training, but is competent enough with a gun.
Appearance: (I don't have any pics yet) Ivy has a round face and hazel eyes. She has short, curly, somewhat uneven chocolate brown hair that comes to about her chin at it's longest. She's pale and freckly, with a thin build. She's high-waisted and notably lacks any real curves otherwise. She's pretty short, about 5'2".
Power: "leech life," She can manipulate energy or absorb it from other sources (plants, electricity, other humans). It can be used to heal others or herself, or she can create "energy spheres" that can be hurled at enemies. Due to the unusual and experimental nature of these powers, as well as Ivy not really knowing how to use them yet, they're very weak right now.
Bio: Ivy ran away from home at a young age with her older brother. They were both arrested last year for robbing several banks, convenient stores, and homes across New England. She was charged with armed robbery and being an accomplice to the murder of a store clerk and accessory to that of a police officer (both killed by her brother), was tried as an adult and sentenced for fifteen to thirty years. Her brother was sentenced for life (possibly to death for the murder of a federal officer) and she hasn't seen or heard from him since.
Ivy is quiet and distant, not terribly social. She can be very bitter and hostile towards others, having a very short temper and being excellent at holding a grudge. She's very grateful for this second chance, and has been trying to be kinder and more open to others now that she's in the program.

Ivy stepped over threshold from the hallway into the dining hall. Since yesterday, all the people she'd seen were soldiers and guards, telling her to watch her step and obey them, and she planned to do just that; this kind of thing didn't happen every day, and she was more than thrilled to turn her young life around. The guards stopped following her, instead dispersing through the room and around the exists, and Ivy stepped cautiously towards the table, looking for a chair with her name.

Hello! I'm kind of new to this. I did a lot of post-by-post rping in middle school and high school, but I've gone about three years without touching it at all. I'm looking to get back into it; I remember it being a lot of fun and being a huge inspiration boost to my writing. I'm excited to be here and I can't wait to tell some great tales with all of you!
