oooooooooooooooooooooh the face on the Combaticons when they realise that the power doesn't come from the throne but is a part of the location, and isn't something they can just simply pick up and carry away...
[Lancer, Lord Kokuyou's throne, Fuka Academy in Japan, Nighttime]

Lancer turned and slammed his lance into the ground. "Indeed." he muttered, seeing the giant humanoid mechs come for him. "However, do be careful. I would rather leave the centre of my new domain unspoiled."

And with that, Lancer turned to the Combaticons, lanced poised to stop onslaught from attacking the throne.

Lancer grinned, seeing that the woman was either brave - or foolish. She was either willing to fight someone more powerful than her, or she just didn't realize that Lancer just simply outclassed her in every way.

"That bravery of yours is commendable, and as such I shall give you the honour of being the first to set foot upon my new domain." he grinned, aiming his lance at her. "On your move."

Lancer frowned when he saw Shizuru get off the boat. A young girl? She was the one who was interrupting him? No matter.

Materializing, Lancer reached his right arm out and materialized the Lance Kazikli Bey before taking it. "It is quite late, young lady." he spoke softly, looking down at her. "You should not be here. You should be home. Things happen this late at night, do you not know?"

Hopefully, she would notice him, realize he was dangerous, get out and warn the authorities, giving him time to establish his domain some more.

... hopefully I'm not doing the Vale tournament line ALONE, because that would be a pretty lame tournament...

The Vale tournament is open to international people, right? In Rwby, there were plenty of people travelling to attend, I recall.

May I suggest that we make the Vale tournament open for any character to fight in and participate?

...why did the best laid plans always come into resistance?

Lancer had just finished setting up the territory marked by the Demonic Defender of the State, a small circle encompassing the entirety of the throne room, when he heard the explosion. With his abilities enhanced by the skill all of his stats as a servant was boosted to A or above, making him extremely powerful, with the fickle exception of Luck which only remained at C, Lancer knew that was little he could not defeat except for one problem.

An anchor. He still needed to secure an anchor to the world. However, that had been something he had planned to acquire after the territory.

What should he do? Should he retreat? Give up on this location and find another unclaimed ley line? Or perhaps strike a deal with the Tohsakas and rest on theirs?

No. Not this time. Lancer would fight. He may not have the capacity to use Kazikli Bey yet, but he was still a servant with almost all A rank Stats. That should be enough for any human thing that could possibly interfere with his claim.

So they'll have to level the place. If that's okay with either of you.

The throne itself is underground, and the director's place is probably abandoned and is some distance away from the rest of the academy

sooooooooooooooo sure
[Lancer, Fuka Academy, Japan, Nighttime]

Lancer stepped off of the final canal and walked towards the throne that Lord Kokuyou once sat upon. It was, to his surprise, a rather nice defensive location. Taking a moment to admire the place, he chuckled at the thought of comparing it to his high summit castle he once had in Wallachia. With it being the centre of the HIME festivals that had occurred every 300 years since untold times, it held quite the magical power. Yes, this place would do nicely.

While in most cases Demonic Defender of the State would take two months to establish, Lancer had found a shortcut to the effect. Reaching into a coat pocket, Lancer tied one end of a string to a stake on the ground and began letting the string into the canal surrounding the central throne in a circle to establish an inner territory. The rest of the academy could come later.

Hmmm... that would be possible. It would explain why we don't see many female protoss ANYWHERE, and there are still female Protoss in high-ranking positions.

Well, do keep in mind that, for much of starcraft, the protoss were a HIGHLY mysterious race (I admit, when I played starcraft for the first time when I was like seven or eight I found the protoss as scary as the zerg, maybe even more, due to the muddy graphics and the fact I just couldn't tell what the hell those portraits were supposed to be. That's what I get for defying ESRB ratings), so we don't know a lot about them overall. As well as Selendis, one of the comic side stories featured a female protoss as a zealot, which proved that, yes, canonly, females could be zealots.

Ah, true. You're right on this one. I was just thinking about how all Templar and Zealots seem to be male. Does this mean Protoss are sexist?

Not really. I mean, Selendis was an executor, which is the equivalent of a commander and the same rank the protoss "player character" of Starcraft 1 was. And Raszagal was the matriarch of the Dark Templars on Shakuras. Those were... pretty high ranks.
