I don't think anyone should be wondering about if Oda is OP or not at the moment. Hiro and Corrupt make him seem like a plot character, and there might be a reason for why he has the abilities he does. I feel like we all just need to seat back, relax, and watch what happens. :3

I believe the point is to explode the clone at a sudden moment before the Hokage can grab Shira. ^^

Yuuto contemplated Tesla's plan. "That plan is better than anything I could come up with -" which would probably involve a suicidal duel against the hokage, he thought to himself with a bit of snark, "but there is a problem. I highly doubt that the Shinobi republic let a young tailed best host into enemy territory alone, no matter how good she is. If she has allies, they'll be on the move too - I have a feeling that's part of the Hokage's strategy in drawing so much attention."

He turned his gaze back at the mass crowd. "If they make a move, even if their goal is the same they won't know that, and we'll hinder each other."

As much as he wished he could simply go up and challenge the hokage to a duel, he knew that was just about the stupidest idea at the moment as well. For now, he would go along with Tesla's plan, but his concern about the possibility of the girl's allies moving still stood.

Yuuto heard Tesla's suggestion to get off and simply shook his head. "Thanks for the warning, but I'm not the type to let a child die in front of my eyes either." he said even as the bird moved away from the centre. Despite his selfless and courageous declaration, he knew that his current adversaries would be the Hokage in the middle of the leaf village. One rash move and the entire village ninja army would be on him.

"You got a plan?" he asked Tesla, wondering what her abilities were. She had shown him this clay bird, after all, although he did wonder why not a single ninja came up to investigate this giant obvious flying bird.

Yuuto heard the calls from the centre of town and realizing that things were suddenly about to explode - if tensions between the republic and konoha were a powder keg, the fuse was just lit. Unless someone stamped out the fire now, things were about to explode. Only taking a moment to marvel at her chakra bird creation, he immediately jumped onto the bird.

"If things go bad," he said to Tesla as they took off and were in the sky, "Then their cover is not the only thing that's about to be blown. Nevermind the witch hunt that might be happening below, this might just be the final straw that ignites the war."

Being in the air, he looked down for a bird's eye view of the village and subsequently saw the jinchuuriki in question. Even from his height, he could tell that she wasn't as tall as the men guarding her, barely 15 at best. Her? A host? She was just a child, and the Hokage planned to execute her?

If Shinra is up on the public execution stand, the executioners would probably find a ronin blocking their path and interrupting the execution.

Yuuto frowned as he heard the news. 5 Jinchyuriki and an invasion plan already. "An attack on this village... to accuse Konoha of aggression is one thing, to act as the aggressor is another thing entirely." If Konoha was the one being attacked, his sense of justice would demand he help her defend her own people. After all, what was rejection of the republic aside from maintaining a nation's right to sovereignty?

Before he allowed himself to be mired up in philosophy, however, he had another matter to consider. "what about you?" he asked Tesla. "What exactly are you? You claim to have deep information sources and yet from the intent you just confessed to you are obviously no ninja of konoha. Had you been a spy for another nation, you would definitely not have dared discuss such matters with me." He had already revealed his identity without demanding the same from her, and as such he felt that he needed to be able to trust her before revealing any more of his information if possible.

As for sides, in the end, Yuuto figured he would probably try to remain as neutral as he could until the moment when he would be forced to defend a person who could not fight back. All that mattered by then was whether or not the coin flip of life decreed whether he would be defending a konoha or a republic shinobi... or was it? Was something else going to happen? He had heard the Samurai General's side already; perhaps he should hear from the hokage. However, he did not fancy the chances of a single ronin meeting the hokage.

Yuuto was honestly a bit surprised when he was asked if he was going to serve Konoha. While it was true he held no more allegiance to the land of Iron, he still held proud feelings for it - he could not allow himself to be dragged in an unjust war against it. Even less so for monetary reasons.

"Joining Konoha? I will be honest, I have not considered it." he admitted. "It will be hard for me to take arms against the land of iron, but I will fight for whichever side is just - and so far, all I can see are the Republic as the aggressors. But I highly doubt Konoha will allow a man from the land of iron to join them, no matter what his current relation to that nation is." he pointed out with a grim smile.
