Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh.

He was saving up for one of them fancy video game systems. But now, with his ammunition and dust being spent, he might as well kiss Last Fable XIII goodbye.

This outta teach him about going to bars when he's trying to save money.

Shaking his head with a small smile as he watched Adder be... well, Adder, Gerald reached into his longcoat, his hand resting on Schnellfeur. He nodded to her when she glanced at him, signalling he was ready to move anytime.
Gerald finished his drink, looking at the people entering the club. Where did they come from? The looked a tad too young to be underworld or mafia. And the beowolves? He didn't hear about such an operation here, but then again, he was just a hired merc.

And those weapons seemed just a TAD too fancy for criminal underworld. Could they be hunters? Great. Just great. To have his old childhood dream come back and taunt him like that. Gerald would have none of it.

"I'm coming with you." Gerald muttered, following Black Adder out of the bar.
Gerald set down his drink and looked towards the floor, watching the fight. Of course Junior's "pennyworths," as Gerald called them - after all, they were only worth pennies - were no match. Gerald never really put much stock into them, not even when he was a trembling 11 year old walking into the bar for the first time.

"Up to you." Gerald shrugged, his economical sense ticking. "We're not getting paid to fight, so I don't really see a point to it, but if you're in the mood for a brawl then by all means."

Adder could of course use her gauntlets, but Gerald would be fighting using his dust chambered guns. Dust was expensive. If he was going to fight, he would definitely need to bill the owner of this place for the price of equipment spent. And then there was the issue of any of the expendable grenades he might use...

Wait, since when was he a responsible adult who cared about saving money?
Seeing that the truck was crashed and the Rocketeer was dead courtesy of Cecilia and James, Kai lifted his Type-99 and crossed the car, setting up on the other side in case Franziska was right and there really was a bigger ambush.

"...anyone radioing ahead?" He asked as he kept a lookout. "We need to let them know something's going on - and that they need first aid at the next station."
"Got it."
Kai, unfazed by the sudden switch from banter to battle immediately unshouldered his Light Machine Gun. As he was by the window, it didn't take long for him at all to get the window edge as a nice convenient stand for the LMG and quickly loaded it with a clip.

He began firing in short bursts at the cargo hold of the truck, aiming to suppress them and to prevent the guy holding the bazooka from getting another shot without Kai being able to instantly pepper him with bullets if need be.
Kai didn't respond to the call for "Silent boy" to get over to the drunken man. He was fine without getting involved, and he liked to keep it that way. Seeing one of the other members head towards the back of the train with his peripheral vision, Kai considered joining him and leaving the car as he continued to blankly stare out the window.
Having arrived late due to issues with the military bureaucracy, Kai finally managed to climb on board the train - thankfully, before it departed. Entering the car where the rest of the unit was, he stopped in his tracks when he saw them drinking and kicking the train car right before Charlotte silenced them with a kick to one of their heads.

Deciding not to announce his presence for the moment, Kai chose a corner seat and sat down
"Both"? There were three ._.
Am I accepted too?
Appearance:

Name: Akasagi Kai

Age: 22

Weapon (melee, gun and rifle/machinegun): 九四式軍刀 (Type-94 Gunto), 一四式南部拳銃 (Type-14 Nambu Pistol),南部九九式軽機関銃 (Nambu Type-99 Light machine gun)

Bio: Born into a family of immigrants within the Empire, Kai lived with a modest family in a village within the Empire. However, the war that occurred naturally raised suspicion of any foreigners within the empire and as such Kai and his family were often persecuted and relocated forcefully. Despite that, his family taught him the values of his people, teaching him the concepts of honour in battle.

One day, during the war the village he lived in was attacked. As the military defence began falling apart, Kai took his family's heirloom sword and snuck towards the battlefield, desperate to prove his family's loyalty to the empire and to cease the unjustified persecution, and managed to catch the invading army off guard. He then managed to commandeer the light machine gun they were using to pin the defenders down and made the opportunity for a counteroffensive. For his trouble, he was allowed to enlist within the army proper, not an auxilary unit, and his family was granted Imperial Citizenship. After the war, he joined Unit 666. He still uses that light machine gun as a trophy form his first act of valour.

Other: Some of the generals may be a bit hostile to the idea of him joining the Unit due to his status as a former foreigner, but the emperor decided he was too cool to be in any other unit.
