Catherine - Firtu Cardinali Incaarnano Cafe Zepelli. "Random selection is fine with me." Catherine said before her expression changed into a more serious one. "Of course, we're going to have to find a way to ensure that the selection is fair - with what we can do, I wouldn't put it past any of you to try and tilt the odds in your favour." Of course, being a magical girl meant that you, naturally, could use magic. Who knew what kind of tricks they could try to pull in order to ensure they got their favourite genre? Surely, the stakes of a contest of magical skill between magical girls were high.
Catherine - Firtu Cardinali Incaarnano Cafe Zepelli. "For the record," Catherine said to Cali as she set down her now finished cup of tea, "You completely set yourself up for that one." Thinking for a moment, Catherine considered her options. While she personally did not enjoy horror movies, she had the slight suspicion that if she voiced that her most loyal friend would select it out of her sheer friendship. "Why don't we go with a comedy?" she suggested casually, "We've seen enough action for several movies and love and drama will cause more frustration than actual entertainment."
Catherine watched the antics of the other three girls while remaining silent, not responding to Adalina's rant about her father, only setting down her teacup and only removing her headphones after Caligetta meekly sat down upon realizing what a scene she was making. "Manliness and a chance of getting slapped and charged for sexual harassment." Catherine said. "HuaHua, if you want to sue her for stealing your first kiss I'll gladly be your witness." she told her without even knowing if that was actually even her first kiss. Setting down her headphones onto the table, she let out a sigh. "Nevertheless, I do feel like they shouldn't just be letting all that tension stay unresolved. Life's too short and there's no gain without risk. But whether or not he'll actually do it, I can't say. At least if he does we'll know."
Name: Catherine Krause Screen name: Songofyourpeoples Age: 14 Nationality: Canada Personality: Catherine is someone who likes to appreciate the smaller joys of life - peace, quiet and a night sky unspoiled by city lights - or, alternatively the splendour of the bright lights of a nighttime city work perfectly well for her too. While she is normally a kind, helpful girl willing to help out people in need, she can occasionally fall too deep into focus when listening to or composing her own music and may be temporarily irritable if she is forcefully snapped out of it. Biography: Born in Germany, Catherine's family immigrated to Canada when Catherine was young. She spent her life there, eventually earning a citizenship when she was nine. She spent her days in school, had friends and lived a happy life. The traditional Canadian tale of an immigrant family achieving their dreams in the land of new beginnings that was Canada. Although her family had no particular history in the musical world, Catherine found herself attracted to the musical arts from a young age. Begging her parents, they began her with violin lessons, not discouraging her although they were not fully confident that her interest was genuine instead of a mere childish curiosity. However, when her instructor began speaking to her parents about Catherine's talent and enthusiastically suggested broadening her musical activities, her parents relented. Although their apartment was small, her parents still squeezed in a piano for her to practice with, and soon Catherine was performing songs far beyond what was expected of her age at recitals and concerts. It was her interest in music which dragged her into the entire mess, as it all began with a scholarship. Impressed with her musical talents, Catherine was invited to an exchange trip to Italy for a year to attend a school with a prestigious musical program. Agreeing, Catherine boarded a plane and headed for Italy. The plane never made it to Italy. From causes still yet unknown, the plane was forced to make a crash landing near the Appeline mountains. During the landing Catherine sustained massive burns which left her in an extremely dangerous state. Even as the other passengers called for help, Catherine lay on the wreckage of the plane, her life trickling away. That was when a Magical girl saved her. There was no great battle, no enemy to be saved from. It was just a simple question and an answer, and the girl took Catherine away and healed her injuries. Managing to contact her parents, Catherine assured them that she was alright and that she had indeed survived the crash. Expressing her desire to continue her time in Italy, she also now had a secret, second reason to stay in Italy - to discover the nature of her new abilities, responsibilities and duties as a magical girl. Experience Level: Magical Girl (First Act) Skills: Music: Aside from having experience on a wide variety of musical instruments, Catherine composes her own music. Although she will never admit it, she composed her own magical girl theme song. First Aid - when she first got her abilities as a magical girl, Catherine thought she could use it to heal her allies. While that turned out to not be the case yet, that did not stop her and she learned to heal the mundane, human way, enrolling herself in a first aid course. Voice Acting - Catherine is able to drastically change her voice to suit and imitate a variety of people, from six year old kids to mature women. She developed this skill as a hobby, and as such it is nowhere near a professional's skill. Magical Power: Time Manipulation - Catherine's magic manifests as the ability to interfere with her target's place with the flow of time. Abilities: First Act: Riavvolgere - The ability to rewind; by focusing her magic Catherine is (supposed to be) able to continually rewind someone or something such as wounds, theoretically being able to heal wounds and injuries by "reversing the state" to a point prior to the actual infliction of the wound, or she may be able to rewind an enemy's movements. Theoretically. In reality, this ability is, in terms of both net damage done to the opponent and in net healing capabilities for herself or her allies completely useless. While she is able to reverse the flow of time, she is unable to also stop the flow of time towards the future - as such, while she is able to force the state of her target to go back five seconds, for example, she is unable to keep the same target from moving five seconds into the future, resulting in a net gain of 0 seconds. In actual, practical combat she is only able to use this ability to keep things in statis, whether they be wounded comrades or enemies. She is unable to help them further, only able to keep them in place. While this ability may be useful in a team situation it had rendered her completely useless independently and as a result has made her much more reliant on allies than other magical girls.
It was another calm afternoon in the nice, historical, modern and classy city of Rome. People milled around their business, classes were over for the day and the common people on the street remained in blissful ignorance of the dangers that existed right around them, a danger fought in a secret war waged by magical girls. One such girl, Catherine, sat in a cafe in the "territory" claimed by her group. It was a nice little cafe, known as Zepelli's, and the girl was simply waiting, listening to music with a cup of coffee in her hands as she waited for the other girls of her group; fellow magical girls who had formed a group for companionship and teamwork.
Looks good, Write, but after some discussion we've decided to ask you to add in these two things: First, things that have moving/internal parts such as bodies and mechanisms are too complicated to draw in battle and as such shouldn't be possible in the heat of combat, so things such as a gun which involve many internal parts should not be drawable in battle. However, it should still be possible for her to draw one outside battle. Second, The more detailed a drawing is, the more powerful the created object is.
Fellsing, Kiltman, your OCs have both been accepted!

PwnLord: Accepted Art: Accepted Tatsua: Accepted TheHangedMan: Accepted whiteprophet: Everything looks good, but you need to include a near-death experience in which your character was rescued by a magical girl in your character's backstory. Once that's done you're good to go~
A few fellow humans and an eldar xenos. Had he fallen into some sorcery of the eldar? Then again, he himself also acted like he did not know what was going on... Thinking that the girl was right and that there was little he could do, the Commissar made his way towards a supposed theatre. Oh, the things a commissar would do for that bowl of tanna tea that he was about to receive but never did. Already the commissar missed the putrid smell of his aide; the comforting protection it brought him which managed to drag him out of many sure-death situations. He wondered what the Valhallans would think of their missing commissar; wondering what sort of panic they might have jumped into. A strange irony - most of the time, a regiment would be overjoyed if their commissar were to suddenly disappear. All things considered however, this new place did not seem so bad either. Considering that no one was trying to kill him, corrupt him, turn him into some sort of warped monster or in general do him harm - except for potentially the eldar. Who knew what Xenos could get up to. But still, no one was shooting at him yet, and Cain thanked for that simple fact as he opened the door into the theatre.
A moment later, Cain promptly closed the door.
