Yukina had been prepared, and as such she took the initiative. Swinging Sekkarou, she managed to effortlessly tear through the clones in her area simply out of a virtue of compatibility - the clones were created through "supernatural" means - means of magic. So long as they were magic or supernatural, Sekkarou was absolute defeat for them - the clones of magic could not possibly survive that which negates all magic, all abnormalities, short of the supernatural means of the divines; the hierarchy of those who created the world.

Slicing her way through, Yukina searched for the source of the clones, hoping that by defeating the original the clones would all simultaneously disappear.
Seeing as Kurumi made the mistake of speaking out loud while spying on them, Yukina heard her and immediately entered a combat position. However, she could not detect where they were. Had she time to prepare, she would definitely have sent out shikigami to investigate the area first. "Everyone, please be alert. I sense enemies." she whispered, Sekkarou at the ready.

Everything was on the line, and just because it was just the beginning it did not change anything. She had to be on top form from start to finish.

I'm here ;w;
Now that Natsuki had returned to her own room, Ayane closed her door and began checking for bugs within the room. Once she was satisfied that she wasn't being spied on and that Natsuki wasn't a Shadows Agent who had bugged her room, Ayane sat down, opened her laptop and inserted a data disk.

Inside that data disk were various files Valkyrie had recovered from Shadows of the Universe. Bits of inforomation, leads, anything she could find before getting out of those locations. However, currently, the trail had gone cold. Ayane briefly considered letting Natsuki in on her investigation, but decided that it was still too risky.

She would tail Natsuki for a while, with Skinfaxi alerting her if she was leaving. Then, she could decide.
Yukina looked at Sinister and nodded. "Understood." she said simply. "I am ready."
"We understand your judgements on Donkey Kong... the unity collectively winces whenever we attempt to gain an insight into the advisor." Iris winced, remembering the hooting and loud, primal roarings that had dominated the hive mind and made every single advent member collectively wince, with some of the acolytes complaining of headaches for hours after.

Iris then pondered for a moment. "It is the unity's belief that Vice President Shizuru seemed exceptionally happy for assuming the Doctor's duties, although we too are unsure if this is due to her being simply happy or something more sinister." she admitted. "...and the unity would like to remind you that just because the head of magic may know that we are capable of wiping out the planet if need be it does not change the fact we are still capable of wiping out the planet if need be."
Iris had sat down on the earth chair that Hiro offered, and nodded as she listened to Hiro explain why he believed Eric to be a threat. "There is no need to apologize; such evidence is crucial. The Unity concurs with your suspicion of the Head of Magic." she spoke, marking that as one member of the council they would have to watch.

"...We do actually have some other members we believe it is in our best interests to discuss." Iris said. "What is your opinion on the General of the Army, Councilman Cecil? Do you believe him to be trustworthy? It is of the Unity's belief that if both military branches are safe from influence it would greatly expand our options in the event of the corrupted attempt to or even succeeding in taking power."

After all, no matter how many council members the shadows corrupted, no matter how powerful they became politically, they could not possibly withstand the might of the only military force the planet had, or the orbital bombardment of dozens of Advent capital ships, each carrying enough ordinance to annihilate the entire population of the world and enough strike craft to darken the skies with Advent aircraft.

Iris was indirectly suggesting that, should the Shadows of the Universe take over the council, that the three of them - Hiro, Iris and Cecil - launch a military coup as a last ditch resort.
Iris saw Hiro go out to practice his combat and followed him. While the advent had no such practices (nor need for any such practice) such as close range combat, preferring their psionic enlightenment, Iris needed to speak with him. He was, after all, the leader of Planetary defence and through that ultimately her commander.

"Leader Hiro," she spoke as she walked out into the field he was in, "If we may, the unity wishes to discuss the matter of the new threat."
Ayane chuckled as she headed out, but that did not stop her from picking up Natsuki's whisper of "Shizuru".

Shirzuru? She couldn't possibly mean Fujino Shizuru from the council, could she? Well, the Vice President was rather young and probably about their ages, but even then it seemed a bit absurd.

And even then, the other idea that the vice president of the Council that governed the planet was connected to the Shadows of the Universe was highly concerning.

Making a room rental - something she did on her personal finances else the manager would be on her case about it - Ayane returned to her room and passed Natsuki a key card. "Your room is on the same floor, room 205. I've rented it out for a week to start, so you should be fine. Just tell me if you need it to be any longer."

Little did Natsuki know that room 205 was just across the hall. What a coincidence. Yes, definitely a coincidence, and not something Ayane set up on purpose.
Ayane raised her eyebrows for a moment before standing up. "Well then, I suppose I'll make good on my promise and go get you a hotel room." she said. That way, she could keep track of her and potentially keep her out of trouble. Before she headed out the door, however, she stopped.

"Oh, and the black panties were a nice choice. They really suited your whole mysterious feel." she said with a smile before heading out the door.
