Bio

*Casual Rper

* Generally writes 2 paragraphs per post but I can write more when motivated.

* My grammar isn't the best (and there's a reason for that) but I'm trying to get better.

* Roleplay topics I'm likely to join: Assassins, Anime/Manga, Action, Adventure, Apocalyptic/Post-Apocalyptic, Dystopia, Fantasy, Magic, Reaper/Shinigami, Multiworld traviling shenanigans, and stuff like that I will join a fandom rp only if I know the series well enough but probably as an OC. I'm good with roleplays inspired by other fandoms though.

-Fandoms I'm willing to roleplay: Pandora Hearts, Grand Guignol Orchestra, Maximum Ride. I will add others when I think of
them.

* Topics I will not likely join (without a reason): School, Vampires, or Romance

* Absolutely no smut

While I love a nice detailed bio, I see is as simply a starting point as well means to organize information. It should NEVER take the place of character development within the roleplay. I enjoy roleplays that not only develop individual characters but their relationships with others. as well

I don't mind if you want my characters to be related or have another kind of relationship before the roleplay's timeline. Just ask first unless roleplay is specifically about a family, an organization, or something

I thought I completely lost this account but apparently I didn't. Yay.

I work plus go to college. Please don't yell at me if I cant get back to an rp immediately.

It stinks when a friend watches a show or finishes a book before you.
I'm interested. This vaguely sounds like Pandora Hearts.

Full Name: Ryoma Sasaki
Nickname: Ryo
Age: 17
School Year: 3rd
Place of Birth: He claims Tokyo but....
Class: B
Sexuality: Asexual
Marital Status: Single despite all his aunt's attempts to marry him off
Occupation: Student
Member of the Host Club?: Yes
Personality: Strong-willed and proud. He can act caring and guarded yet sensitive around guests but when they're not around he is cold-hearted and mischievous. He's a habitual liar, especially involving information about himself, but he will tell the truth on occasion-- usually either for his own benefit or to mess with someone else's head. He does have a few identity issues that might make him act out of character from time to time but it's rare for anyone to see that side of him except for his closest friend. Despite appearances, he is dedicated to his studies.
Background:
He doesn't really know either of his parents. According to his aunt, his father was a director but no one knew who his mother was. He'd just disappeared for two years then came back with a child. Ryo's grandfather was already upset for his children's 'disobedience' when it came to their career choices so he broke ties with both Ryo's father and Ryo's aunt. While Ryo's father is still alive, he's only ever visited Ryo six times in the past. He currently lives with his aunt.
I'm interested in being a Significant is this is still open.

For as long as they could remember, the citizens of the city of Aster have been told the barrier that isolates them from the rest of the world protects them from dangers on both sides of the wall. On the inside, it neutralizes elemental abilities, making it impossible for those gifted with one to use it without permission from the government. While no one has seen what it's actually like outside the barrier, according to the section of the military that controls information, it is common knowledge that the world outside is not safe for humans any more but all that's about to change.

After failing an attempt to destroy the barrier, a rebel organization that calls themselves the Order of Vices appeared spreading rumors about the town government and attacking anyone affiliated with the military. In response to the attacks the government sends the Enforcers, a special unit that hunts down criminals other units wouldn't ordinarily be able to take care of. This rp is about the battle between the town government, specifically the Enforcers and Vice.

Characters possible: Enforcers, Members of the Order of Vices, and others.

Name: Alva Donnelly

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Appearance: She's 5'2" with long black hair that has a hint of purple shine to it, bright green eyes, and pale skin. Although certified Enforcers are allowed to wear whatever they want as long as it doesn't go against the dress code, she still often wears the uniform of an Enforcer-in-training. (For girls it's a knee-length skirt with two burgundy stripes an inch from the end, a white long-sleeved oxford shirt, a burgundy double-breasted jacket with brass buttons, white socks, and black shoes.) Even though she wears the pin that proves she had graduated from the program, her uniform and her size seem to make most strangers assume she's much younger than she actually is and still in training.

Personality: While she's only openly hostile towards criminals, she's distrustful and disdainful of humanity in general. She can be strict, bossy, callous, and stubborn but she's also dedicated and resolute. Her duty to protect the citizens of the town can only be overshadowed by her desire to discover the identity of her real family. It's slowly becoming an obsession since she fears the thought of having to chose between loyalty to family and loyalty to the town. Although she can seem apathetic and guarded towards those closest to her, they can easily make her flustered.

Element: Light

Ability: Can materialize light into either a shield/barrier or blades in a wide-range attack.

Enforcer, Virtue, Vice, Civilian, or Other: Enforcer

Partner: Ask if you want the role.

Other: She was recently told by someone who had the ability of foresight that she would come into contact with her real family and that they have become an enemy of the town. Although she doesn't believe it, she's becoming more motivated to find them. She doesn't know it but her mother and her half-brother, the only family she has left, is in the Order of Vices.
Also, she carries a gun with her at all times.
For as long as they could remember, the citizens of the city of Aster have been told the barrier that isolates them from the rest of the world protects them from dangers on both sides of the wall. On the inside, it neutralizes elemental abilities, making it impossible for those gifted with one to use it without permission from the government. While no one has seen what it's actually like outside the barrier, it is common knowledge that the world outside is not safe for humans any more but all that's about to change.

Enter the Order of Vices-- an organization who's sole mission is to destroy the barrier that keeps the people in the dark. After their first attempt, the military sent a unit of Enforcers to track down anyone suspected of being involved but the closer the Enforcers get to Vice, the more they begin to realize the government hasn't been telling everything.

Things to know:
- Elemental abilities are limited to earth, water, fire, wind, darkness, light, and time. However, different people have different abilities within the element (for example if two people use the element of light, one may be able to cast illusions, while the other can create weapons or shields from light). Each person only has one ability. Having one of these abilities are rare and are usually passed down from parent to child but it's also rare for the child to have the same element as their parent. Because of this, children with abilities are often forced away from their own families at an early age and sent to an approved military family in order for to learn how to cope with and learn how to use their abilities. While most of them are neutralized by the barrier, there are a few people who can use their ability even without a limiter. Most of them are imprisoned 'to keep them from harming themselves and others.'

- Enforcers are the results of the family switching process mentioned above. They are an elite unit within the military who are allowed to use their abilities to capture or eliminate those who can't be dealt with by the police. The program is fairly new so all the members are in their late teens or early twenties. Basically, their main job is to track down and either capture or eliminate others with abilities. They tend to work in groups or pairs.

- Limiters limit the influence of the barrier on those with abilities. They should only be used by those approved by the government but that doesn't keep criminals from stealing them or making their own.

-The barrier is supposedly the only thing keeping people safe. It lessens the chance of someone with an ability from using that ability to injure himself and other and keeps whatever lies beyond the city's borders out. It is maintained by ten towers that surround the city but very few know how they actually work.

-The Order of Virtues is a prominent religious group that believes humans are essentially good because they are connected by a collective consciousness. They do not approve of the military's influence over society but they will cooperate on occasion. Members of the Order have given up their names and refer to themselves as call themselves by the virtue they'd like to see in themselves. Since they wear masks when seen by others who are not in the Order, they are often called Faceless.

-The Order of Vices may be named after the Virtues but besides wearing masks in public and adopting different names (using vices instead of virtues) they are complete opposites. They can't stand the current society so they plan on changing things by tearing down the barrier and they don't care how many people are hurt in the process. Majority of their members have abilities but since they have limiters, few are affected by the barrier.
