Appearance:
At 6’2”, Gideon is usually taller than most Claymore’s in the organisation though his hair is paler than most of the others his eyes are the standard white-silver. He has an athletic build with well-defined muscles though he isn’t bulky at all since he doesn’t want to slow himself down.

Abilities:
Iron Skin
The unique ability that got Gideon his nickname, he is able to manipulate his Yoki into certain parts of his body to harden the skin and make it all but unbreakable except to the strongest of attacks that have a lot of power behind them. One the affected part the skin shimmers silver but it’s hard to notice from afar, the biggest weakness of this ability is if Gideon is caught off-guard and isn’t able to use it in time. Because of this he has found a way to counter such a flaw in his ability by hardening every part of his body which makes his skin and hair look paler than normal. Of course, such a powerful ability is very taxing and he cannot maintain it for long nor will he use it unless the circumstances are dire. Though this ability is primarily defensive in nature, he is able to harden the area around his knuckles for increased striking power.
Strong Arm
A rather simple ability were Gideon awakens his arms to increase the strength behind his attacks either with his sword or simply with his fists.
Yoki Regeneration
Though Gideon is a defensive type and they have greater regenerative abilities than offensive types, he is also able to pour Yoki into any wounds on his body to heal them depending on the severity of the injury itself. Minor cuts and bruises will heal instantaneously, deep cuts and gashes take several seconds and missing limbs minutes. The greater the wound the more straining this ability becomes on Gideon’s body.
Yoki Sensing
Though no master at sensing another's Yoki, Gideon can detect a Claymore or Yoma at a range of roughly one hundred metres unless they are trying to mask their Yoki which would force him to concentrate on finding them if he wanted to get their location. When in close proximity with an aura of Yoki, he can usually identify its feeling and what emotions the owner is currently exhibiting.
Biography:
Like most other Claymore’s, Gideon can’t remember anything of his life before being brought into the organisation and that experience was one he would never soon forget. At first he was their loyal attack dog who always felt like he had something to prove so always strived for excellence in everything that he did. Killing Yoma and awakened beings without a care in the world or shred of mercy, it was a time he would rather forget about and before he created his signature ability they often referred to him as Gideon “the bloody” as he very commonly returned covered from head to toe in blood.
The more he ventured out into the world to slay his mortal enemy and the scourge of mankind, he began to mature mentally and see just what was happening to him. Sometimes when he visited a village or city, he’d find himself staring at families embracing one another or even simpler acts of love like a father messing up the hair of his son. He knew he could never have such a thing and thought it would be a selfish thing to want in life but he did so anyway, he didn’t just want to be a name and number that would be forgotten by those who cared so little for his life. And so he started thinking up a plan or a way he could escape this hellish existence, it would take some time to perfect but he deems it a worthy cause.

Personality:
For the most part Gideon is a quiet individual and rarely speaks unless he has some of value to say, there is the possibility he may act different around friends if he truly had any. Though he will do his mission and carry it out by any means necessary, he often uses his own initiative when trying to hunt down Yoma and never strictly abides by any rules. This is because he is slowly to really think about his role in this world and that he is but a weapon which simply doesn’t sit well with him any longer though he is yet to say a thing.
It is hard to disrupt Gideon’s calm demeanour since he cares for very little and in battle he thinks tactically, coming up with multiple ways he can beat his enemy and he never lets battles last long if he can help it. Because of the way he carries himself he is respectful to everyone that he meets unless he has a reason not though he isn’t beyond giving someone another chance should they say or do something he does not approve of.
He has a strong distaste for the releasing of his Yoki and will often go to quite some lengths in order to stop himself using it unless he is in immediate danger or thinks an attack on him will be fatal. If he can see himself destroying his enemy with just his martial skill then he will do just that and he’d much prefer it this way since he is afraid of losing control of himself, he doesn’t want to lose himself to the power within.
