Race (The Vanguard)

The Fa’nay are artificial constructs built by a now extinct empire that used these mechanised warriors to war with each other, only to result in their entire race’s demise. The Fa’nay or ‘Vanguard’ which their name later evolved to plan to expand their own empire and create mass Data Hives to further their processing abilities.

Despite being tool of war from a hateful race, the Vanguards, much to the surprise of humans and other sentient lifeforms, the Vanguard actually treasure organic life and will stop at nothing to protect it, risking their own safety to do so.

Notable missions: During a Human Mining-world protest, the local government began to open fire on civilians, the Vanguard quickly intercepted the corrupt government, eliminating all hostile forces.
Other: The Vanguard use a shared knowledge system in which all battle data is processed in each individual unit. However the Data Hive is vital of planetary missions, somehow disabling that will severely hinder ongoing operations.

Personality: REX-77 as of yet has no real emotional interface, however by spending more time with organic creatures, the Vanguard hope to evolve their base program to be more ‘lifelike’
Quick-Bio: In their attempt to make a more ‘organic’ battle unit that understands the values of life, the Vanguard began a Spectre program to create battle commando units, REX-77 was one of the very few successes that were able to be put on the battle front. Becoming ‘captain’ of a foundry ship was the Vanguard’s way of attempting human and organic military structure so see how affective it can be.

Welcome to the Aura Region, fortress of the Aura Guardians during the Old Times and the last bastion of hope during the Rise of the Chaos Poke'mon. However 1329 years on and all but a handful of Aura Guardians remain in existence - scattered.
You, young and inexperienced trainers have recently arrived in the Aura Region for one sole purpose. The 1330th Aura Region Championships which are due to start in two mouths time.
However, a evil force lingers in the background, the Aura Crystals (in which the natural flowing aura energy condenses to form crystals) are slowing being tainted to create a much sinister form known as Quantum Crystals. Is this a mere phenomenon that will pass in time, or is it a prologue to a much darker plan?

Rules:

1. Remember that you are a new trainer, you will not have access to extremely rare Poke'mon (there will be chances for that later), on top of that your Poke'mon will not be S-Class fighters.
2. No Power Gaming
3. No extreme profanity of sexual themes.
4. If battles can not be resolved between players of a ‘Play to Lose’ basis the GM will auto resolve it.

Back-story:
Sir Alexander, or just Sir Alex was an Aura Knight, a division within the Aura Guardians who were tasked with tracking down and capturing or trapping Chaos & Void Poke'mon. Most notably one of the three Chaos God Poke'mon, Gunzar.
During a trapping ritual to stop Gunzar from wiping out an entire city, Sir Alex along with two-hundred other Knights and Guardians begun to perform the sealing rites to lock Gunzar away forever. But there was an issue, the intense power the Gunzar processed meant that one Guardian would have to sacrifice themselves to ensure that the seal was strong enough, and before any vote could take place, Sir Alex had already elected himself to take this final role.
But 1330 years later, rumours speak of a young man with uncanny resemblance of Sir Alex. Could it be a great descendant of the former knight, or perhaps a reincarnation of him? Or even once such theory is that he was frozen in pure Aura Crystal. Perfectly preserved until a time that he would be needed again. Whatever the case may be, he has been seen training up high in the mountains with a Lucario and is thought that he would be entering the championships as well.
