Baxter dashed behind a small strut which was offering very little cover as it was, wedging himself even further. He thought it best not to come back with some kind of snappy come-back and debated on what he was going to do.

"Hey do you guys wear all that armour all the time? That must be really bad for your skin." He said as he began to fiddle with a UV grenade in his hand. "I think you need to catch some more rays." Afterwards he threw the grenade out into the open. When it exploded, the light intensity was most like looking directly at the sun if it were only centimetres away. Using this he quickly attached his repelling cable to the stairwell frame and went down all the way to the bottom where he had originally encountered resistance.

As he pushed through the door on his way to the hangar there was one guard about to draw his weapon, but Baxter ran across the wall, pushing off it to the side kick him in the face. He then proceeded towards the hangar whilst getting his operator on the line.

"Start up the hangar elevator and doors." He demeaned.

"Sir, that's going to take some time."

"Just do it!"

Meanwhile as he was running and attempted to hack into the hostile comms and begin to play: 'Why can't we be friends'

Oh I don't know if you saw it because I edited in at the bottom, but I have responded ^^
Nevada Desert
The sun scorched the sands below it, not a single gust of wind blew. All was quiet until a full mobilized army tore through it. – Gunships ripped across the skies accompanied by dropships carrying mech units harnessed to their back cargo sections. Under them racing at full speed was a series of battle tanks and armoured troop transports.

“Attention all forces, Class-D Wolf pack has been detected. Full lethal force has been authorised.” A dispatcher sounded across all open channels.

The HIVE military force stopped outside a small cave entrance. The dropships deployed their mechs and troops go into position.
Commander Knight stepped out of his own transport and admired the efficacy of his men. While he was disheartened that they weren’t hunting vamps, a Class-D Werewolf Pack couldn’t go unnoticed.

Loaded with what looked like a flare gun, Knight aimed it at the entrance of the cave.
“Everyone get ready. The party’s about to start.” Knight called over the radio.
Once all the troops raised their weapons, Knight fired into the cave with the flare. But once it entered the chasm it exploded with glittering silver. It didn’t take long for the rumbling to begin.

Soon a hoard of werewolves, howling in pain rushed through the entrance. They were quickly met with a volley of ballistic fire and small arms fire. The bodies quickly piled up.

After five minutes of continuous fire there were no signs of hostile fire – well that’s what they believed anyway. But they were gravely mistaken.
The ground began to rip and tare. Soon a gigantic white beast rose, picking up tanks and throwing them at the gunships that attempted to intercept it. One of them was struck by the oncoming debris and crashed into a cluster of men.

But still the men held their resolve. Knight moved into a more offensive position, unleashing a silver nitrate flare into the beast, the resulting explosion caused the particles to scatter around him, leaving his advance sensors useless, however with a target this size they weren’t needed. The silver dazed the titan-wolf as they had been referred to by HIVE soldiers and stopped its unusually rapid healing ability.
“Fire the rail rifle!” Knight ordered.

“Yes sir!” A voice called over the radio and a blue men crouched down onto all fours and a rifle extension began to slide out and charge.

“Firing in 3…2…1… RAIL AWAY!” The pilot shouted as an ear shattering blast filled the area and a condensed energy blast shot a twenty inch hole in the titan-wolf’s chest.

It took some time for the forces to reconsolidate but after accessing their losses compared to that of the enemies, it was fair to say that today was a victory.

Baxter stood up, watching that he didn't touch the water and ran towards the stair case.

"Sir, this just in. Knight and his team encountered a Titan-Wolf and neutralised it." The operator spoke, meaning that his devices were starting to work again. And while he was happy about the other mission's success, he had to get out of here.

Baxter ran up the stairs and into what would be the lobby.
"I'm just the maintenance guy. You have a leak." Baxter remarked as he jumped to his left, firing at the nearby water pipe bursting it with an electro-dart, causing the water on the floor to have a charge to it.
Baxter took the punch to the face and used the momentum to break free from Wash's grips of his coat, sliding round whilst drawing his pistol and pointing it at him.

"God damn that hurt." He yelled. "But sadly you've just lost."
Soon after Baxter ascended a few floors the elevator suddenly stopped prematurely. His visor was still disrupted by the silver nitrate and so he had to do things the old fashioned way. Opening his satchel he planted a blob of plastic explosive on the door nearby and detonated it. He leapt through the small hole, nearly falling back down the shaft and stumbled to his feet.

"Next time I'll take the stairs." He said but as he turned round he realised that he was in the barracks level of the facility.

"Ah crap."
"As you wish..."

Baxter released his hands and down dropped a small silver canister that began to spray out a sparkling mist. - Silver Nitrate. Within seconds the entire corridor was filled with the smoke and Baxter ran back towards the open elevator doors, pressing the button. The issue was that any electronic device in tactical helmets were rendered useless making tracking with them near impossible and so he had to judge the drop distance of the elevator.

With a leap of faith he jumped, grabbing hold of one of the cables and began to be lifted up by it.
Baxter come round the corner with his hands above his head, clenched.
“Now that is no way for a fine lady such as yourself to be speaking now. How about I take you to Al’ Fonso’s and we have a meal together?” Baxter’s voice masked through his VOX speaker.

‘How we doing with that extraction?’ He muttered into the radio, cutting off his external comms.

‘Working on it sir.’ Command replied.

Baxter begun walking towards Katya, accessing her armour and combat abilities. His movements were calm and precise, he was no stranger to this kind of situation before and he was weighing up several possible escape routes.
Legion i though Baxter was HIVE. and i thought they wanted vampires dead not Purge

They don't want Purge dead^^ But at the same time they don't trust anyone, they're just being nosy and seening what you have under the hood.

And when I mean they, it's just Baxter wanting to know everything about everybody.

“Sir, is this wise? I mean, what if you’re captured? This is a violation to the treaty.”

“Relax, I just want to see this prototype power armour they are producing.”

“Well at least let me go through the extraction plan.”

“There won’t be a need for an extraction plan. I will slip in then out again. – Just watch me.”
The radio then cut off.

Respirator breathing filled the elevator shaft as Director Baxter abseiled down by his feet at a constant speed, his visor scanning the shaft for any entry points. In his helmet ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ by Guns and Roses was playing. After a few floors he found what he was looking for. Pressing his mask the doors wined open and Baxter swung himself through them, disconnecting from the rope as he did so, striking a pose. A small round of applause came from his radio, clearly his operator was impressed.

Down the hall way were two guards and Baxter quickly entered the utility cupboard before they spotted him, he looked around for anything that he could use. His attention stumbled upon a cardboard box and he pondered for a moment.

‘Don’t be silly that’ll never work’ He said to himself as he left the room, pulling out both of his pistols and firing shock darts into the guards’ necks, only rendering them unconscious. He then floated down the hall to check for any oncoming guards. When the coast was clear he then searched for some access point and placed a small device onto it.

But then the alarms began to sound.

“Urr... Command. About the extraction plan?”
