The light troding sound of Alex's horse slowly disappeared into a whisper.
He had traveled for miles without rest just so he was sure that he wasn't being followed by agents of The Fallen. Though their dark eye would eventually find him, his rift stone necklace should shield him for now.
Alex dismounted his horse and tied it to a nearby trough, where it dunked its head and began to drink its well deserved water. Alex, in his formal attire fit enough be pass as royalty entered the main entrance of the Raven, shocked by its state. His father's tales of this placed told of a grand taven where heroes met to speak of their adventures, not this slum that wasn't even fit enough to be classed as a brothel.
"What a trash heep." Alex exclaimed uncontrollably.

Alex is a former ‘Guardian of the Rift’, a race of ascended humans that were granted the power of Riftology by the Goddess of the Rift. These Guardians were the sworn protectors of the land from ‘The Fallen’ – Gods that grew too greedy and sought to ravage the world in blood and war.
The Guardians acted as demon hunters, puppets that The Fallen used to wreak havoc on the human race. However, while the Guardians were powerful, they had not suspected a traitor among them that led to their downfall and the destruction of their home, Marble City.

Remember the famous Hutt Abba who once sang:
"Credits! Credits! Credits! Worth more than small kids! In a hutt's world!
Credits! Credits! Credits! If Blaster can't kill it! Pay with it! In hutt's world!"
Credits are meaningless to Iridonians :) i.e bribery won't work, however they all understand that they are needed to actually do things. But they are more after bloodsport than big payouts, so will more likely take out kill contracts than capture, though it's not out of the question.
Nop, we are the in-between! That will allow us much space to act as freely as we want!

Lok began his journey by joining the Outer Rim Defence Force taskforce. Lok remained with the taskforce for three years before he was discharged for killing is entire team and ripping the flesh from their bones after they were ordered to stand down from assaulting a smuggling base.
Lok would any bounty that was offered to him, the more targets the better. There were never any living bounties collected.
Soon the bounties dried up. Very few would feel comfortable in an Iridonian's presence, let alone giving them a job. And through necessity Lok joined the bounty hunters' guild to ensure that his bloodlust.
