Name: Svipyod, Son of Kipyat Nickname: Yod Gender: Male Age: 24 Appearance  Type of Character: Unggoy Rank: Minor Armour/Clothing: As an Unggoy Minor, Svipyod's armour is depressingly thin. Aside from the built-in methane rebreather, it contains almost no examples of modern technology and is little more than an armoured gas tank. He has however managed to scavenge a few bits and pieces since landing on Reach, including a couple of UNSC Army pouches on a bandoleer. Weapons: Type-25 Directed Energy Rifle, Jiralhanae variant (aka Brute Plasma Rifle). Claimed during a particularly bloody battle against the traitorous Jiralhanae, this rifle has been lovingly maintained and recharged a dozen times over and is Svipyod's second most prized possession after his hunting rock. Equipment: 2x Three-day Methane Tanks 1x Methane Field Still 1x Authentic Unggoy Hunting Rock, complete with several dozen minor kill marks Personality: It speaks volumes that even Svipyod's own less-than-gifted kind consider him rather dumb, albeit in a kind-hearted, naive kind of way. Unggoy society generally rewards the strong and selfish, and yet somehow Svipyod has survived on a philosophy of altruism and respect. He truly bears no ill will toward any other sentient being, not even those nasty racist Kig-Yar or the Jiralhanae and their Unggoy-eating ways. Overall Svipyod could be described as a gentle little alien puppymonkeylizardthing, loyal to his Master and friendly toward anyone not currently trying to eat him. History: Unggoy traditionally do not have need for history. With an average life expectancy of months for newly enlisted Minors in the Covenant's military, most do not have time to chronicle their adventures. Svipyod is a rare exception to this rule, an Unggoy who has somehow survived the best part of a decade of service stretching back to before the discovery of the Parasite. In the eyes of his diminutive people, Svipyod is a grizzled veteran of a hundred campaigns, equal in honour and achievement to any Sangheili warrior; in truth, he is just a lucky little bugger, lacking in the most basic leadership skills required for promotion and yet somehow skilled enough to have survived every battle so far. Stuck in a dead end job and at the bottom of the pile, Svipyod believes he has nowhere to go but up and so serves his Master to the best of his ability as both an infantryman and personal assistant. If nothing else, Svipyod is a pretty good cook. For an Unggoy. Other: Svipyod is quite the animal person and hunter, making him adept at scrounging up meat. Admittedly said meat is often rat, but in the circumstances... When we meet the enemy, we will rip their skulls from their spines, and toss 'em away, laughin'! Am I right, Marines? --- Is he Grunty enough?

Instructor sounds good, like Duncan (well, like he used to be). SeeD Instructors would still be sent on field ops every so often to keep them sharp, so that works for me.

I like her and officially name her Inori. Just a few small questions; is Jun a SeeD, Garden student/graduate or..? The party has moved on to Timber now, so it's best if she's the former or latter; it might be hard to thread a normal student in at this point. Tirawa's element would be fire too, but there's nothing wrong with putting in some description about her in the CS if you want. Also, might be worth moving Jericho and Gracelyn on soon Zarkun, to keep a bit of movement going for you.

There's nothing in the canon that states that only female Valkyrur have powers, but it does fit the typical Japanese trope of the schoolgirl superweapon. Still, I'll allow it on the grounds that it doesn't make him said superweapon, just an ordinary guy who heals weirdly fast.
