It's exam season, boys and girls, so postage should be up over the weekend. If you don't hear from me by Monday, honour my memory.

Well then. I'm exceedingly British, rather sarcastic and I love a good shipfest in my RPs. Also male. Funny, that. Fair warning, I will treat you like an adult. That means I will mock you, point out your mistakes and most likely /cringe when you do something really autistic. Being an adult means accepting criticism and working to improve yourself, not ignoring it. And if I need calling out on my bullshit, just do it. Please. Nothing is worse than not realising that you've said or done something stupid til a week after the fact.

I currently live in Japan, so my posting hours are... weird. Please bear with me.

It's a day early but I'm still surprisingly drunk from last night so ferck it.
Looks good sword. Chuck up your updated CS and away you go.
Sniper is taken by caliban's second character.
Sure; no-one's seen it in action yet, so I don't see a problem. Just chuck your edited CS into the characters tab when you're done.
Slyphs been PMing me and said they'd post sometime today/tomorrow. I'd like to get a post up for Harald and Bons, but I'd prefer to hear from the others first.
A violent cringe shot through Pyotr's body as YukiHana came up with a revised nickname. 'P-please, spare me... Tell you what, call me Aki. That's my real name; Akiko.' For some reason real names had become taboo in SAO culture, for the lack of a better term. Pyotr was like to call it a form of escapism; if no-one talked about their real-life selves then maybe they would magically forget about their situation or some such bollocks... Personally she preferred to use her real name, at least with people she knew. And she suspected that she would get to know this kid very well in the coming months. 'So we've decided, yes? I'm Aki and you're midget. Or Yuki. Yeah, let's go with Yuki.' Her amusement at the girl's reaction didn't last into YukiHana's offer to fight. It was an awkward situation; she obviously wasn't family so didn't have any real authority over the child, but nevertheless Pyotr felt a distinct responsibility for her safety. If it were up to her, she'd lock the kid up in the Town of Beginnings in one of the player-run orphanages. Sadly, it wasn't her choice. 'So... you really think you can fight then? Without getting scared? Tell you what, I know a good place nearby where we can test things out.' Tsukiya may have wanted to go grind for levels, but Pyotr was more concerned with item drops when hunting. Just outside of the town there was a little used copse of trees, rich in a certain kind of boar. They were more critters than mobs, well below the average strength of the area; they would make for good practice dummies to gauge YukiHana's fighting ability while also dropping useful meat and leather. Two pigs with one stone.
I'm sorry that my posts have been so short lately; I just can't think of how to fill the space >>;
If anyone had expected the group to hang around and chat, they were sorely mistaken. As the other raid members filtered out one by one, Fuyuko turned her thoughts to what they ought to do next. Accepting Arina's friend request was a given and the tank spammed requests to everyone else in the party before they could escape. 'I'm up for that. I've got a small player home north of Freelia, near the Pooka border; you're all welcome to come have a meal some time.' Saving the cash for a player home hadn't been easy; fortunately Fuyuko was well versed in the art of using her cuteness to secure donations. Even with all the help, she hadn't been able to get a proper house, instead settling for a campsite along the beach of a small lagoon. To be fair she had a pretty big tent, but it was still just a tent. 'Ima head home, log off, eat. Should be online tomorrow, say... 1900 JST?' Casting one last appreciative smile around her newfound friends, Fuyuko flicked the dead cigarette away and activated a teleport crystal. By the time the fagend exploded into light, she was long gone.
------------------------------------------------------------
Light slowly returned to the world as the apartment's automatic lights brightened. Fuyuko sat up in bed, shedding the Amusphere and pulling an old hoodie on. She stood up, mentally making the transition from blonde loli to tired salaryman. Dropping his online persona was an interesting experience for Manabu; Fuyuko wasn't everything he wanted to be, but was still a damn sight more outgoing than he ever dreamed of being in real life. Probably didn't help that he worked in a library; he talked to more people on the way home than at work. Glancing out the window at the twilight of mid-evening, Manabu debated the hassle of cooking dinner for a long moment. I'm lazy... and tomorrow's my day off. His mind made up, Manabu set about getting dressed for a good meal out and perhaps a nice drink. Someone else might have balked at going to a bar or restaurant alone, but he had long since lost contact with his old friends; with the exception of ALO, it would be safe to say that Manabu had no real social life. Scary thought, he mused as he walked off into the Tokyo night, cigarette in hand. How many other ALO players are the same as me...?
I admit, it's a funny word. Fucked if I know where it comes from though.
goober
