Vesperia

A familiar voice stirred vexing eyes open to view Sealameet and a crystal creation from his talented sister. Bittersweet could be the feeling at that moment about the ornament. How could something so beautiful be so…manipulative? At least in her case butterflies were not exactly as innocent as they seemed, much like herself. Most of the spirits she summoned were helpful but others wished to control and tear anything apart. Fingers carefully reached out taking this multi-hued jewel but felt guilty in doing so. Like that child dragon she did not deserve this gift after the way she acted, regardless.

“Thank you kindly Sealameet. There does not seem to be a selfish part within you.” A genuine smile arose after complimenting his gracious nature. Though, eyes dropped to the crystal as she gently touched the tips of each wing with her fingertips as he directed the topic toward her magic.

“So I take it your powers are of darkness?” He inquired.

“They are.” She responded matter-of-factly without much explanation, and in a sense expected a scolding. As he continued Vesperia was quite surprised at his reaction however, and replayed his praise in her mind a couple of times making sure she understood correctly.

“Impressive?” Blond hair slid of shoulders as she tilted her head while looking up to him quizzically. No one had ever said that about her dark magic before. Acerbus viewed all magic as equal not one better than the other. He neither endorsed nor discouraged her use of it so she was quite taken aback by full-fledged approval but not only that. Sealameet went on to explain how average his fire element was and she shook her head in disagreement.

“Fire is beautiful. I would very much like to see sometime—if you don’t mind, that is.” She smiled and placed her newly acquired butterfly stone in her velvet bag. For a moment all shyness left her, and allowed this demure dragon to do something she would not have done in a million years. Her form stood and took steps, stopping mere inches from the fire dragon.

“I find you quite unique too, and would love a flight alongside you.” Wooing words stated candidly, giving him a compliment back.

Slowly a hand sweetly swept Sealameets bangs away from his face, and surprisingly discovered that he had inherited horns too. His just happened to be concealed by volumes of disheveled tresses, which she absolutely adored. She caught his gaze for a second, peering deeply into his soft eyes for a moment before leaning in to place a kiss on his forehead. Standing on tip toes in order to achieve this. All too soon she began to blush ferociously and bit down upon her bottom lip before turning to walk away, changing the subject once again.

“I am interested in that waterfall you spoke of…”She hinted, hoping he would show her the way and they could spend some time enjoying a swim. Although she possessed no waterproof attire or the like, she had no qualms swimming in her elegant dress.

"Momo...She will be alright in your sister's shop, wont she?" Vesperia suddenly exclaimed in near forgetfulness. She did have the responsibility of keeping an eye on the little human, and did not want anything bad to happen.

Vesperia

This vortex of violet whirling around Vesperia only flourished when Lucatiel conjured a crystal line of defense. Vibrant almost blindingly bright butterflies slowly materialized, and proceeded to flutter jaggedly sharp wings around the horned dragon with vengeful purple eyes. They began whispering an only audible chant to their summoner urging her to utilize their corrupt force.

”Child or not, destroy the insolent cur.

It does not respect you.

It does not accept you.

No one does.” Cooed the inviting spirts that could only be heard by Vesperia.

“That…That’s not true, at least--not anymore. There may be someone.” Vesperia timidly fought back.

“No, let us protect you.

Let us destroy it.” They seethed.

It was the gentle hand of Sealameet that soothed the dark flame and made her fight back against using such means. Momo’s hand on her other shoulder calmed the rest of any lingering unease.

“Enough!” She screamed internally at the spirits and forced the butterflies to shatter like broken pieces of glass.

The once purplish glow abruptly surrounding her body fell shimmering to the ground below where they were soaked into the floor. For now, they were gone. The destructive spirits that occasionally beckoned her would be at peace for at least a little while but would no doubt return. In the meantime she intertwined her hands, resting them against her chest like a prayer. Hoping that dreadful wailing the left headed dragon produced would disperse after an apology, and being given gifts it did not deserve.

“I apologize for my actions and will cause you no more grief.” She bowed a formal curtsy to both dragons including Sealameet's sister.

Her currently harmless state turned to leave after casting a vacant glance at the long haired male dragon that entered giving an un-requested opinion about humans. Deep down inside, sorry was an emotion she did not feel at that moment in the least. She had been treated exactly like this human had at the other tribe and clear as day those traumatic scars were still present. All those memories had left a deep seeded hatred for dragons or anyone who judged someone by appearance, magic, or species. How close minded they were and she refused to spend another moment around them. Before opening the door to head out another dragon entered the shop inquiring about Lucatiel. Vesperia blinked a few times at the crowd all gathered in the space and turned her attention to Momo and Sealameet who she spoke softly to.

“For now, I’ll be outside if you need me.” A cheerless smile followed while trying to carry on a homey demeanor though these dragons probably would not buy it.

Since Sealameet encouraged that no harm would fall Momo, she felt safe waiting near the establishment. Finding this situation best if she were to step outside and avoid further socialization least she really lose her temper, and destroy whatever friendship was left among Sealameet and Momo. Her back rested against the shop building. A long winded sigh escaped her while melancholy hues closed for a moment, taking in a light breeze that kissed exposed skin. Maybe coming here was not such a good idea after all but then she never would have met her two friends. Her heart ached because she felt saddened that they had deduced Momo to a troubling human whose only purpose was to be dragon food. Something else weighed her down too, she did not mean to disrespect Sealameet's sister. Could he ever forgive her?
Thanks Ae & thanks everyone. ^^
I’ll make a post after Silver's duel headed dragon responds. ^^

& Irish, you should probably just go ahead & time skip like Tal suggested.

He was on 10 hours ago & responding to everything else.

If you want you could message him if that makes you feel better before moving on.

He does have numerous amounts of rps so maybe this one got buried.

-shrug-
I sent a message to Fire.

When/if he comes back we will continue where we left off if that's ok Ae.

For now, consider Vera & Ryker on their own little adventure for the time being--since they already are. ^^

I am going to go on a hiatus from this rp for a bit & hopefully Fire will join in again.

Thank you Ae for inviting me & giving me a chance.

Look forward to rping with you guys again soon. ^^

Apologies for holding the rp up & ditching out for a bit.

I am sure you guys will be perfectly fine. ^^

Have fun & don't die. XD
Vesperia

Vesperia followed every word of his on bated breath but when he asked for a touring flight, her bright ambiance dimmed along with the happiness in her face. It was as if a great ship’s rope had given way and began floating opposite from the dock. “Oh.” She said morosely while lowering eyes in turmoil not speaking for some time. Lost in apparent contemplation but she came to the realization rather quickly that an answer must be given sooner rather than later. They both seemed to be sharing the exact delicate rosy hue of nervousness, and she did not want to refuse his sweet offer.

“Sealameet, I..” She struggled to say and began fiddling with her long nails.

This would surely be the end of their budding connection but she decided to make the difficult decision to accept his suggestion, even the consequence.

“Traveling by foot would be a better option--though, I would be delighted to join you regardless.” A pure though weak smile crossed her lips.

She overheard the two headed dragon mention human and Vesperia whipped around, semi-surprised that the emerald stranger could have known. Momo did smell a bit like something unfamiliar but human would not have been her first guess. Ages had passed since living among Momo’s kind and the scent of them sort of vanished with time. Other dragons were more sociable and brave around the two footed beings and that had not come to mind when bringing her along to the shop.

“Can we eat it? Papa says they taste like yummy veal!” The right head hissed.

Vesperia narrowed stormy hues in ire and valiantly stepped in front of Momo all the while glaring rather viciously at the right head of the green dragon. For all the others knew this was her regular personality but something inside her triggered when Momo was threatened. The horned dragon could not let any harm befall her human friend, especially since she belonged to a fellow dragon. How would she be able to live with herself if this girl became a dragon snack?

“You…will…not.” She nearly roared in defiance, sharp fangs becoming visible as she spoke these three simple but blunt words.

This angelic figure that stood before each dragon in the shop was gradually surrounded by a darkening purplish glow. A sinister illumination began radiating at her feet, swirling upward and around. The source was faint but could easily be detected. Dark magic had made itself known without her even allowing it to interfere. Vesperia’s ability to control this element was more in a teen range rather than an adult since spending years repressing the magic. Sometimes there was no telling when the power would make itself known. Unfortunately, it had picked now to do so and she did not appear very heavenly at this moment.

Manners were naturally occurring to the polite human it seemed for she used formal speech and even took a bow. Momo was also soft-spoken and demure, which meshed perfectly with the horned dragon’s bashful personality. This first meeting could not have gone any better and anxiety soon lessened with each exchange of courteous words and gifts. Vesperia handed the polite human an extremely rare princess cut Poudretteite gemstone in exchange for the nifty machine. She could not possibly part with a gift without giving one in return, and two free mementos in one festival came as a nice surprise.

“You are much too generous, I appreciate your generosity and if you say you’re allowed to wander then let us visit the crystal shop.” This decision did not take long to reach especially if this human said Mistress Siabel could sniff her exact location.

An unfamiliar feeling of eagerness had transpired since first meeting that male dragon, almost as if her spirit butterflies were fluttering inside her stomach instead of conjuring a protective barrier around her form. The possibility of running into Sealameet again filled her with excitement, and bare feet could not walk fast enough to the boutique. After gathering and carefully placing each gem into her bag the search for the specialty store commenced. The dragon with blanched eyes mentioned that the building was hard to miss and as the odd duo both rounded a corner it stood out among the other dwellings.

Once inside eyes befell to an emerald scaled dragon with two chatting heads. A greeting smile was flashed their way after holding the door open for her guest. The elegant yet peculiar horned dragon stood in concurrence with Momo, and would follow the sweet human if she decided to browse any wares. On occasion Vesperia’s celestial hues would innocently peek over to steal a look at Sealameet until she finally found the courage to address him. Gracefully her slender figure strolled over to him with subtle confidence, the violet material from her dress shining with each step.

“Greetings, once again. I would very much like to introduce you to my friend, Momo. Momo this is Sealameet.” Her attention was then directed at the compact form dragon with flowing silvery tresses.

“Is she your sister? I am afraid I did not catch your name but I wanted to thank you for the beautiful rose crystal. This shop and your work is truly wonderful to behold.” While in the midst of Sealameet and his sister she had forgotten to conduct herself in the proper way and had disrupted the other dragon customer.

“I apologize if I interrupted your conversation.” She spoke to the duel headed dragon, and felt awful if she had.
